هدفت هذه الدراسة التعرف إلى درجة اسهام كتب التربية الوطنية والمدنية للتوعية بظاهرة المخدرات من وجهة نظر معلمي التربية الوطنية والمدنية في المفرق، كما هدفت للتعرف إلى الفروق في آراء أفراد عينة الدراسة حول درجة اسهام كتب التربية الوطنية والمدنية للتوعية بظاهرة المخدرات تبعاً لاختلاف متغيرات (النوع الاجتماعي، المؤهل العملي، سنوات الخبرة)، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم اتباع المنهج الوصفي المسحي، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (23) معلم ومعلمة من معلمي التربية الوطنية، وتم استخدام طريقة الحصر الشامل، وأظهرت النتائج: أن هناك درجة متوسطة من اسهام كتب التربية الوطنية والمدينة للتوعية بظاهرة المخدرات من وجهة نظر معلمي كتب التربية الوطنية والمدنية في المفرق، كما أظهرت عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (?=0.05) في آراء أفراد عينة الدراسة حول درجة اسهام كتب التربية الوطنية والمدينة للتوعية بظاهرة المخدرات من وجهة نظر معلمي المبحث في المفرق تبعاً لاختلاف متغيرات (النوع الاجتماعي، المؤهل العملي، سنوات الخبرة).
وفي ضوء النتائج أوصت الدراسة مجموعة توصيات كان أبرزها: وضع خطط مبرمجة من قبل القائمين على إعداد كتب التربية الوطنية؛ من أجل التركيز على ظاهرة المخدرات ومكافحتها

The study aimed to figure out the degree of contribution of the national and civic education textbooks in raising the awareness in the drug phenomenon from the point of view of the field teachers in Mafraq. It also aimed to explore the differences in the viewpoints of the study sample members regarding the contribution degree of the national and civic education textbooks in raising the awareness in the drug phenomenon from the point of view of the field teachers in Mafraq according to the variables of (gender, qualification, and years of experience). To achieve this objective, the descriptive, survey approach was adopted. The study population consisted of all the male and female teachers of the national and civic education in the public schools in Mafraq (n. 23). Given the limited size of the study population and its simple access, the researcher used the consensus approach and conducted the statistical analysis. After the analysis, the study found a medium degree for the degree of contribution of the national and civic education textbooks to raising awareness in the drug phenomenon from the point of view of the filed teachers in Mafraq and no statistically significant differences at sig. (?=0.05) in the viewpoints of the study sample members on the degree of contribution of the national and civic education textbooks to raising awareness in the drug phenomenon from the point of view of the filed teachers in Mafraq according to the variables of (gender, qualification and years of experience).
The study recommends setting programmed plans by those in charge of preparing the national education textbooks to focus on the phenomenon of drugs and fight it in addition
