هدفت الرسالة إلى إبراز أثر الأزمة السورية في روايات شهلا العجيلي، التي كتبتها في فترة ما بين (2013-2021م).
تساعد روايات العجيلي في فهم أثر الأزمة السورية في النص الروائي، وكيف برزت بعض المضامين التي تناولتها في رواياتها، كالأنا والآخر، ويتمثل الآخر لديها بعدة صور منها: القريب المتمثل بوالدها، وجارها، وصديق الطفولة، والغريب العدو، والغريب القريب. وتعرّج الرسالة على الثنائيات التي يعد بعضها مُثْريا للسرد، كثنائية الجسر، والوطن والغربة، والطبقة البرجوازبة، وكذلك المرأة المرغوبة والمهجورة.
تركز الروايات على المكان، إذ إن روايات هذه الرسالة هي روايات مكانية توظف الشخصيات والزمان عبره، ويظهر لديها المكان في العنوانات الرئيسة، وعنوانات الفصول، وكيف تربط المكان بالبعد الثقافي الذي يمثله من ناحية تقاليده، وتاريخه القديم والحديث أثناء الأزمة.
يظهر في الروايات دور الشخصيات من حيث مفهومها ووظائفها، إذ إن لهذه الشخصيات وظائف تحرك فلك النص الروائي لأنها تمثل شخصيات رئيسة، أو مساندة، أو فاعلة ، ومنها شخصيات استذكارية لتكسر خط الزمن في الرواية، أو شخصيات تقوم بالبوح، أو تكون كنماذج بنائية كشخصيات الإيجابيين والهامشيين.
تقف الرسالة في الفصل الثالث على الزمن الروائي لتبين أهميته في السرد وسير الأحداث، وكيف يتمايز الزمن فيه بالاسترجاع والاستباق، وأيضا من حيث حركة السرد إن كان من جهة تسريع السرد أو إبطائه

This thesis aims to highlight the impact of the Syrian crisis on Shahla Al-Ajili's novels, written between 2013 and 2021.
Al-Ajili's novels aid in understanding the Syrian crisis's influence on narrative text, revealing how themes such as the self and the other emerge. The 'other' is depicted through various images, including her father, neighbor, childhood friend, and both familiar and unfamiliar foes. Her work explores dualities, many of which enrich the narrative, such as homeland versus estrangement, the bourgeoisie, and the juxtaposition of the desired and forsaken woman.
The novels place significant emphasis on setting. The books under study in this thesis are spatial narratives that use characters and time within their locales. The importance of place is apparent in the main titles, chapter titles, and the cultural dimensions it encapsulates, including traditions and historical events during the crisis.
Characters play a crucial role in these novels, both conceptually and functionally. The characters drive the narrative text, serving as main, supporting, or active characters. Some characters disrupt the timeline, while others reveal information or act as structural models, such as positive and marginal characters.
In the third chapter, the thesis emphasizes narrative time, highlighting its importance in the storytelling and the sequence of events. The handling of time is distinctive, marked by recollection and anticipation, and the pace of the narrative, whether it's accelerated or slowed
