The study aimed to identify the degree of practicing the ethical leadership and its relation to the administrative accountability by the principals of the schools of basic education from the perspective of teachers. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive, analytical method through preparing the questionnaire and distributing it to all the members of the school community, which consisted of all the teachers of the schools of basic education in Mafraq amounting to (2181) by (1252) females and (929) males. The researcher adopted the random method in selecting the study sample where he distributed (450) questionnaires to the teachers of basic education out of which (420) were retrieved; after reviewing the questionnaires, it was found that the number of questionnaires valid for the statistical analysis was (400). The study concluded that there was a high level of the administrative accountability from the perspective of teachers, a high level of practicing the ethical leadership by the principals of the schools of basic education from the perspective of teachers, a direct relationship between the degree of practicing the ethical leadership by the principals of the schools of basic school from the perspective of teachers and a direct relationship between the level of the administrative accountability from the perspective of teachers. The study recommended several points, most important of which is holding leadership training programs that meet their practical and literary needs in the field of accountability
