هدفت هذه الدراسة الموسومة بـــ "أثر الأزمة التايوانية على العلاقات الصينية الأمريكية 2016-2023"، إلى تسليط الضوء على ماهية الأزمة التايوانية، واستعراض تاريخ العلاقات الصينية- الأمريكية، وبيان الأهمية الاستراتيجية لتايوان لدى كل من الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية والصين، والتحقق من انعكاسات الأزمة التايوانية على طبيعة العلاقات الصينية الأمريكية. وبعد استخدام المنهجية العلمية الملائمة لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة ممثلةً بالمنهج الوصفي التحليلي ومنهج المصلحة الوطنية ومنهج صنع القرار تمت صياغة فرضية الدراسة القائلة بــ: "وجود علاقة طردية بين دوام الأزمة التايوانية وبين العلاقات الصينية- الأمريكية، فكلما زاد تأثير الأزمة التايوانية، زاد تأثر العلاقات الصينية- الأمريكية"، وقد ثبت للدراسة صحة هذه الفرضية؛ حيث أن تايوان ذات أهمية استراتيجية لكلٍ من الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية والصين، وما يؤكد ذلك هو التنافس الأمريكي الصيني على فرض الهيمنة على هذه الجزيرة لتحقيق مصالح معينة، بل وقد يؤدي تطور الأمور إلى نشوب مواجهة عكسرية أو توترات تشوب العلاقات الثنائية بين الطرفين الصيني والأمريكي. ولكن وعلى الرغم من نقاط التوتر المتعددة في موضوع تايوان، إلا أنه من المستبعد أن يتطور هذا التوتر إلى تدخل عسكري ومواجهة مباشرة أو غير مباشرة بين الولايات المتحدة والصين؛ حيث أن أساس السياسة الخارجية الصينية قائم على الدبلوماسية والتعاون الاقتصادي، كما أن أي مواجهات عسكرية ستضر كلا المصالح الأمريكية والصينة، وستكون تكلفة تلك المواجهات أكثر من تكلفة الإبقاء على الأوضاع كما هي في الوقت الحالي. وفي ضوء النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة، تمت التوصية باعتماد الصين مزيداً من القوة الناعمة في علاقاتها مع دول منطقة شرق آسيا، وزيادة الاستثمارات الصينية في تلك المنطقة، بما يقلل من الوجود الأمريكي فيها على المستوى الاقتصادي، وزيادة التحالفات الأمنية والدفاعية، وتوقيع المزيد من اتفاقيات التفاهم في مجال تبادل الخبرات العسكرية بين الصين ودول منطقة شرق آسيا. |

This study, addressed ?The Impact of the Taiwanese Crisis on Chinese-American Relations 2016-2023? aimed at shedding light on the nature of the Taiwanese crisis, reviewing the history of Chinese- American relations, demonstrating the strategic importance of Taiwan to both China and the United States of America, and verifying the repercussions of the Taiwanese crisis on the nature of Chinese- American relations. After using the appropriate scientific methodology to achieve the objectives of the study, represented by the descriptive analytical approach, the national interest approach, and the decision-making approach, to verify the study hypothesis which states: ?There is a direct relationship between the length of the Taiwanese crisis and Chinese- American relations; The greater the impact of the Taiwanese crisis, the greater the impact of Chinese- American relations?. The study proved the validity of this hypothesis, where Taiwan has a strategic importance to both China and the United States of America, what confirms this is the Chinese- American competition to impose hegemony on this island to achieve certain interests. The development of matters may even lead to the outbreak of a military confrontation or tensions that mar bilateral relations between the Chinese and American parties. However, despite the many points of tension regarding the Taiwan issue, it is unlikely that this tension will develop into military intervention and direct or indirect confrontation between China and the United States since the basis of Chinese foreign policy is grounded on diplomacy and economic cooperation, any military confrontations will harm both Chinese American and interests, and the cost of those confrontations will be more than the cost of keeping the situation as it is at the present time. In light of the results obtained, it was recommended that China adopt more soft power in its relations with the countries of the East Asian region, increase Chinese investments in that region, thus reducing the American presence there on the economic level, increase security and defense alliances, and sign more agreements.
