تتناول هذه الدراسة موضوع التدرج الدلالي في النص القرآني، لتحقق هدفين رئيسين، الأول استجلاء علاقة التدرُّج الدلاليّ، بتعريفه، والكشف عن خصائصه، وأنماطه، وأهميته في دراسة اللغة، وموقعه من علاقات المعنى، ومدى حضوره نظريًا وتطبيقيًّا في التراث اللغوي العربي. والثاني تبيّن أثره في تشكيل دلالة النص القرآني، واستثماره في النص القرآني في إبلاغ رسالة الخالق - عزّ وجلّ ? ومقاصده، بدراسة حقلين دلاليين، هما حقل ألفاظ الزمن وتعابيره وحقل ألفاظ العاطفة، وتحديدا الفرح والحزن، فرصدت الألفاظ والتعابير في الحقلين الدلاليين في العربية الفصحى، وحللت نماذج قرآنية مختارة على ضوء مفهوم التدرج الدلالي. واعتمدت الدراسة في تحقيق هدفيها على المنهجين: الوصفي في اختيار مادتها من العربية الفصحى، والقصدي في اختيار نماذجها القرآنية من الآيات الكريمة المشتملة على التدرج الدلالي في حقلي الزمن وعاطفتي الفرح والحزن، بالاستفادة من معطيات علم الدلالة الحديث، ومصادر العربية من المصنفات اللغوية والمعجمية، والتفاسير القرآنية.
وبُنيت الدراسة على ثلاثة فصول، تناول الأول علاقة التدرج الدلالي، وتناول الثاني ألفاظ الزمن وتعابيره في القرآن الكريم، وتناول الثالث ألفاظ الفرح والحزن في القرآن الكريم. وتكمن أهمية هذه الدراسة في اشتغالها على التأسيس النظري لعلاقة التدرج الدلالي، وتطبيقها في دراسة الألفاظ والتعابير في العربية الفصحى، وفي تحليل نماذج مختارة في النص القرآني، في سياق من ندرة الدراسات المعنية وجدَّتِها تنظيرًا وتطبيقًا في الدراسات الغربية، بله الدراسات العربية.
وخلصت الدراسة في أهم نتائجها إلى تحديد مفهوم التدرج الدلالي، والكشف عن خصائصه وأنماطه، وأهميته في دراسة اللغة، ومدى حضوره في التراث اللغوي العربي، وأظهرت إمكانية رصد دراسة الألفاظ والتعابير ودراستها وتحليل نماذجها على ضوء مفهوم التدرج، وبخاصة إذا توافر فيها مقياس (أو معيار) يمكِّن من تدريجها، ويتيح توظيفها في بناء الخطاب. وأظهرت الدراسة كذلك أن لعلاقة التدرج أثرًا جليًّا في الاستدلال على الإحكام في القرآن الكريم، وأهميةً بالغة في تلقي معاني الخطاب القرآني وفهم مقاصده

This study addresses the concept of semantic gradation in the Holy Qur'anic text, aiming to fulfill two main objectives. The first is to clarify the notion of semantic gradation by defining the concept, identifying its characteristics and types, exploring its significance in linguistic analysis, situating it among other sense relations, and reviewing its presence in the Arabic linguistic heritage. The second objective is to examine the impact of semantic gradation on meaning construction in the Qur'an and its role in conveying the implicit and intended meanings of the Divine Speaker, through the analysis of two lexical fields: time-related expressions and emotional expressions?specifically terms related to joy and sorrow.
The study investigates and analyzes relevant lexical items and expressions within Classical Arabic, and examines selected Qur'anic verses in light of the concept of semantic gradation. To achieve its objectives, the study adopts a dual methodological approach: a descriptive method for selecting data from Classical Arabic, and a purposive method for selecting Qur'anic examples that exhibit semantic gradation in the fields of time and emotional expressions. The analysis draws on insights from modern semantics alongside traditional Arabic sources, including linguistic, lexicographical works, and Qur'anic exegesis.
The study consists of an introduction and three chapters: the first explores the conceptual and relational nature of semantic gradation; the second examines time-related expressions in the Holy Qur?'an; and the third investigates the lexicon of joy and sorrow in the Qur'anic discourse. The significance of this research lies in its theoretical grounding of semantic gradation and its application to the analysis of Classical Arabic vocabulary and Qur'anic interpretation?filling a gap in Arabic linguistic studies, despite the increasing relevance of the concept in Western linguistic scholarship.
Key findings of the study include a clear definition of semantic gradation, its patterns and characteristics, and its importance in linguistic theory and application. The study also traces its presence within the Arabic linguistic tradition. It demonstrates the viability of analyzing lexical items and expressions through the lens of semantic gradation?particularly when a measurable criterion allows for hierarchical classification and effective integration into discourse. Moreover, the study reveals that semantic gradation contributes significantly to the coherence and rhetorical precision of the Qur'anic text, and plays a vital role in enhancing the understanding and reception of its intended meanings and messages
