هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور الملك عبد الله الثاني في عملية التحديث السياسي في الأردن للفترة الممتدة من 1999-2022،وقد قامت الدراسة على فرضية مفادها:(إن هنالك علاقة ارتباطية بين دور الملك عبد الله الثاني في عملية التحديث السياسي في الأردن للفترة الممتدة من 1999_2022)، وليتم التحقق من صحة الفرضية والإجابة عن سؤالها المحوري، فقد استخدم منهج تحليل النظم.
خلصت الدراسة إلى نتيجة مفادها: وجود أثر للتحديث السياسي على قنوات المشاركة السياسية، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى نتائج عدة، أن واقع الاصلاح السياسي في الأردن كان يحتوي على العديد من الإنجازات من خلال الرؤية الملكية الإصلاحية ذات النظرة المستقبلية عالية الوتيرة والديناميكية المتمثلة بشخص الملك عبد الله الثاني ومؤسسه العرش الملكية التي تكللت بتشريع عدد من القوانين التي تخص الحياة السياسية للبلاد، وإن التمكين السياسي للشباب والمرأة من أهم القضايا التي تسعى الحكومة لتحقيقه من خلال إزالة العوائق القانونية وتغيير السياسات، وأن الإصلاح يجب أن يخلق أدوات مجتمعية وسياسية ومشاركة فعلية لجميع شرائح المجتمع، وأن ترسيخ مبدأ سيادة القانون أساس الدولة المدنية، وأن تحليل الرؤية الملكية للإصلاح، السياسي والمتمثلة في كتب التكليف السامية، والمبادرات الملكية، والأوراق النقاشية، من خلال قياس مدى التقدم في عملية الإصلاح السياسي والتطوير في مجالات الدستور والقوانين والتشريعات وقوانين الانتخاب والأحزاب والتعديلات الدستورية، وتعميق الثقافة السياسية لدى مؤسسات المجتمع المدني، وتوسيع دائرة المشاركة الشعبية لكافة فئات المجتمع.

The study aimed to Identify the role of King Abdullah II in the process of political modernization in Jordan for the period extending from 1999-2022. The study was based on the hypothesis that: (There is a correlation between the role of King Abdullah II in the process of political modernization in Jordan for the period extending from 1999-2022), In order to verify the validity of the hypothesis and answer its central question, a systems analysis approach was used.
The study concluded with the fact that: there Is an impact of political modernization on the channels of political participation, and the study reached several results, that the reality of political reform in Jordan was full of achievements through the reformist royal vision with a high-paced and dynamic future outlook represented by the person of King Abdullah II and his founder, the royal throne. Whichh culminated in the enactment of a number of laws related to the political life of the country, and the political empowerment of youth and women Is one of the most important Issues that the government seeks to achieve by removing legal obstacles and changing policies.
