هدفت الدراسة لمعرفة مبادئ الأمن المجتمعي المتضمنة في كتب الدراسات الاجتماعية المطورة في الأردن من خلال تحليل محتواها، وتكونت العينة من كتابي الصفين الأول والرابع الأساسيين، وتم استخدام المنهج الوصفي، وتكونت الأداة من بطاقة تحليل تكونت من خمسة مبادئ وهي:(العدالة الاجتماعية، الأمن الفكري، القيم والمعايير الاجتماعية، التعايش، الألفة والتسامح). وأظهرت النتائج أن تضمين مبدأ العدالة الاجتماعية في كتاب الصف الأول حصل على (43) تكرار و(49) تكرارا في كتاب الصف الرابع، وحصل مبدأ الأمن الفكري في كتاب الصف الأول على (51) تكرار و(66) في كتاب الصف الرابع، وحصل مبدأ القيم والمعايير الاجتماعية في كتاب الصف الأول على (109) تكرار و(113) في كتاب الصف الرابع، وحصول مبدأ التعايش في كتاب الصف الأول على (31) تكرار و(26) في كتاب الصف الرابع، وحصل مبدأ الألفة والتسامح في كتاب الصف الأول على (63) تكرار و(67) في كتاب الصف الرابع. وأظهرت النتائج كذلك عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في توزيع مبادئ الأمن المجتمعي في محتوى الكتابين وعلى جميع المبادئ.
وفي ضوء النتائج، أوصت الدراسة بمجموعة من التوصيات، من أهمها تعزيز بعض المفاهيم المتعلقة بالأمن المجتمعي في محتوى الكتابين ومنها: تكثيف المحتوى الذي يعزز تقبل الآخر، وعدم التدخل في شؤون الآخرين، وتعزيز مفاهيم محاربة التطرف الفكري وتنمية الوعي الديني المعتدل، وإعادة النظر في تضمين فقرات مثل "العفو والتسامح" و"احترام التنوع العرقي.

The study aimed to identify the principles of community security included in the developed social studies textbooks in Jordan. The sample consisted of the first and fourth-grade basic textbooks. The tool consisted of five principles :( social justice, intellectual security, social values and norms, coexistence, and familiarity and tolerance). The results showed that the inclusion of the principle of social justice in the first-grade book received (43) occurrences and (49) occurrences in the fourth-grade book. The principle of intellectual security in the first-grade book received (51) occurrences and (66) occurrences in the fourth-grade book. The principle of social values and standards in the first-grade book received (109) occurrences and (113) occurrences in the fourth-grade book. The principle of coexistence in the first-grade received (31) occurrences and (26) occurrences in the fourth-grade book. The principle of familiarity and tolerance in the first-grade received (63) occurrences and (67) occurrences in the fourth-grade book. The results also showed no statistically significant differences in the distribution of community security principles in the content of the two books across all principles.
In light of the results, the study recommended a set of recommendations, the most important of which include enhancing certain concepts related to community security in the content of the two books, such as intensifying content that promotes acceptance of others, non-interference in others' affairs, strengthening concepts of combating ideological extremism and developing moderate religious awareness, and reconsidering the inclusion of sections such as "forgiveness and tolerance" and "respect for ethnic diversity
