هدفت الدراسة التعرف على درجة ممارسة معلمي الرياضيات في المرحلة الأساسية للواء البادية الشمالية الغربية لمهارات التفكير الرياضي ، وقد استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي المسحي و تكونت عينة الدراسة من ( 276) معلما ومعلمة وتم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية المتيسرة وتكونت أداة الدراسة من استبانة مكونة (32) فقرة بصورتها النهائية موزعة ثمانية مجالات وهي( الاستقراء ، التعميم أو التجريد، التعبير بالرموز، التخمين ، الاستنتاج، النمذجة ، البرهان الرياضي، التفكير المنطقي )، وتوصلت الدراسة الى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية (? = 0.05) تعزى لأثر الجنس في جميع المجالات والدرجة الكلية باستثناء التفكير المنطقي وجاءت الفروق لصالح الذكور وعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية (? = 0.05) تعزى لأثر المؤهل العلمي في جميع المجالات والدرجة الكلية باستثناء التفكير المنطقي وجاءت الفروق لصالح البكالوريوس وايضا عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية (? = 0.05) تعزى لأثر سنوات الخبرة في جميع المجالات والدرجة الكلية باستثناء التخمين .
الملخص بالانجليزي
 The purpose of the study is to investigate the Degree of practice of Math Teachers in the primary stage of the Northwestern Badia District in Mathematical thinking skills. To achieve the aim of the study, the descriptive survey approach was adopted, and the study sample consisted of (276) male and female teachers, selected Randomly as available questionnaire was administrated. It consisted of (32) items in it final from, It included six domains: induction, generalization or abstraction, symbolic expression, estimation, reasoning and logical thinking The result of the study showed there were no statistically significant differences at the of (? = 0.05 ) attributed to the gender rariable in all domains and in total degree expect for logical thinking where the differences were in favor of males and also showed that there were no statistically significant differences at at the level of (? = 0.05 ) attributed to the academic qualification variable in all domains and in the total degree, expect for logical thinking , where the differences where in favor of teachers with bachelor?s degree Further more , the results revealed that there were no statistically significant differences at level of (? = 0.05 ) attributed to the years of experience in all domains and in the total degree, expect for estimation in all domains and in the total degree, expect for estimation
