هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعريف بنشأة وتطور علم الاجتماع والسوسيولوجيا، ومستويات التحول الفكري وبعد ذلك قامت بإسقاط هذا الموضوع على التحول الفكري للتيارات السياسية على التحديث الذي قام به حزب الرفاه، وحزب العدالة والتنمية في تركيا خلال فترة الممتدة من عام 1996-2017، وذلك من خلال فصلين: تناول الأول موضوع السوسيولوجيا والتحولات الفكرية، فيما تناول الفصل الثاني سوسيولوجيا التحولات الفكرية في تركيا, وقد الدراسة من فرضية مفادها أن هناك علاقة ارتباطية إيجابية بين سوسيولوجيا التحولات الفكرية للتيارات السياسية وبين عملية التحديث في تركيا، وللوصول إلى النتائج استخدمت الدراسةعدداً من المناهج وهي: نظرية النخبة، تحليل المضمون، مقاربة الثقافة السياسية، والمنهج التاريخي.
وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج والتوصيات التي كان من أهمهما: تمثل التجربة التركية حالة حديثة فريدة نظراً لما قدمته من إسقاط الحالة النظرية إلى أرض الواقع مما أدى إلى صعود تركيا إلى مصاف الدول المتقدمة، كما توصلت الدراسة إلى أنه يوجد علاقة بين التنمية في تركيا الحديثة وبين التحديث الاقتصادي والاجتماعي والسياسي

The current study aimed to identify the establishment and development of sociology and the levels of intellectual transformations and then, it projected this matter on the intellectual transformation of political currents on modernization done by the welfare party and justice and development party in Turkey from 1996-2017. This was done in two chapters, the first chapter discussed sociology topic and intellectual transformations while the second addressed the sociology of intellectual transformations in Turkey.
The study formulated a hypothesis that there is a positive correlation relationship between intellectual transformations sociology of the political currents and the modernization process in Turkey. In order to reach the study objectives, several approaches were used including: Elite Theory, Content Analysis, Political Culture Approach, and the Historical Approach.
The study concluded several results and made several recommendations, the most important of which is that the Turkish experience represents a unique modern case given the projection of theoretical situation into reality, which led turkey to become one of the advanced countries. Another conclusion is that there is a relationship between development in modern turkey and the economic, social, and political modernization
