تقدم هذه الدراسة مجموعة من الايضاحات فيما يتعلق باستراجتيات التلاعب من قبل الرئيس الامريكي دونالد ترامب في محاولة تبرير قرار بناء سور عازل على الخط الحدودي بين الولايات المتحدة و المكسيك استجابتا للازمة الداخلية في الشارع الامريكي بعد تصريحه بان الحكومة المكسيكية سوف نسدد تكاليف بناء السور . تتبنى الاجراءات اتحليلية للرسالة المنهج الاجتماعي الذهني من قبل الباحث فان دايك في الخطاب النقدي . قسمت الرسالة الى اربعة فصول بحيث اشتمل الفصل الاول المقدمة و اهمية النص و الاهداف و السؤال و الفرضية و الصعوبات . اشتمل الفصل الثاني الاطار النظري و الدراسات السابقة . اشتمل الفصل الثالث الاجراءات و تحليل النص . و اخيرا اشتمل الفصل الرابع النتائج و التوصيات. تهدف الدراسة الى الكشف عن المكونات الخطابية و الاجنماية والذهنبة بالاضافة الى مكون رابع و هو الصورة النمطية . أظهرت نتائج الدراسة تركيز المتحدث على الضملئر الشخصية و الاختيار الاصطلاحي و تراكيب الجمل و الادوات الخطابية لابراز وجهة النظر وو الانجازات و السلطة و التضامن المحتمعي في محاولة لابراز الذات ايجابيا . كما استخدم المتحدث ضمائر الغائب و الاشارة اضافة الى الاختيار الاصطلاحي و تراكيب الجمل و الادوات الخطابية في محاولة لابراز الطرف الاخر سلبيا , تم تطبيق هذه ااستراجيات باستخدام نطاق واسع من التغطية الاعلامية مع ابراز الحقائق الاحصائية مما يؤثر علر الصور الذهنية للمستمعين

 The presented study provides elucidations with regard to the manipulative strategies followed by the US president Donald Trump to justify his decision of building a wall on the border line between US and Mexico in response to an internal crisis of the American street as he stated that Mexican government will pay for the wall in which the use of certain strategies by this politician is the prime focus of this study. The analytical procedures adopt the socio- cognitive theory proposed by Van Dijk in to consideration in connection to the domain of Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA). The presented thesis is divided in to four chapters in which the first one provides an introduction addresses the research questions, objectives, contributions and limitations. The second one introduces the theoretical background as well as the literature review. The third one provides a description of the adopted methodology as well as the target text. Finally, the fourth one, which introduces conclusions and recommendations. The aim of the study is to uncover the components of discourse, society and cognition within the selected speech in addition to a fourth part which is the stereotypical adopted image. The findings of the research show that the speaker concentrated on the use of first person pronouns , certain lexical choices , active forms and rhetorical devices to present personal standpoints , achievements , authority , and solidarity in a positive presentation of self . In addition, there is a use for third person as well as demonstrative pronouns along with certain lexical choices, passive forms and rhetorical devices in a negative presentation of other. These processes are performed in relation to the vast accessibility of the speaker to media as for his position as the head of state through presenting statistical facts regarding illegal immigration which affects mental representations
