هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى استقصاء أثر استخدام تطبيق كاهوت لطالبات الصف التاسع في تلعم القواعد والمفردات واتجاهاتهن نحوه. تكون افراد الدراسة من 35 طالبًة من الصف السادس التحقن بدروس القواعد والمفردات باللغة الإنجليزية في مدرسة تونس الاساسية المختلطة. لتحقيق أغراض الدراسة، تم استخدام تصميم شبه تجريبي تضمن الاختبار القبلي / البعدي في الدراسة. كما تم استخدام استبانة تم تطبيقها على المجموعة التجريبية. تم اختيار المشاركين عشوائيًا وقسموا إلى مجموعتين من قبل إدارة المدرسة. تم تقسيمهن بشكل عشوائي إلى مجموعتين: المجموعة التجريبية (17 طالبًا) والمجموعة الضابطة (18طالبًا)، تعلمت المجموعة التجريبية المفردات باستخدام تطبيق كاهوت بينما تعلمت المجموعة الضابطة المفردات باستخدام أسلوب الطريقة الاعتيادية. تم إجراء الاختبار القبلي / البعدي لكلا المجموعتين من أجل معرفة نتائج الطلاب، بينما تم تقديم استبانة إلى المجموعة التجريبية لمعرفة اتجاهات الطلبات نحو استخدام تطبيق كاهوت. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن إجابات معظم الطلبات كانت متوافقة للغاية بعد فحص وتقييم اتجاهاتهن نحو استخدام تطبيق كاهوت لتعلم القواعد والمفردات. وقد أثبت هذا أن استخدام تطبيق كاهوت له تأثر إيجابي على اتجاهات الطلبات في تعلم المفردات. وفقًا لإجابات الطالبات المجموعة التجريبية وقد كان استخدام تطبيق كاهوت ممتعًا ومفيدًا في اكتساب القواعد والمفردات |

This study examined the effects of using the educational Kahoot application on 6th grade female students? grammar and vocabulary and their attitudes toward it. The participants of the study included 35 students joining classes in the English language at Tunis Mixed Basic School in Irbid. To achieve the purposes of the study, a quasi-experimental design that included pre/post-test was used in the study. In addition, an attitude scale was applied to the experimental group. Data were collected by using a pre/post-test and attitude scale (questionnaire). The participants were assigned into two sections by the school administration. However, they were assigned randomly into two groups: The experimental group (18 students) and the control group (17 students). The experimental group was taught grammar and vocabulary using the educational Kahoot application, while the control group was subjected to study grammar and vocabulary using regular instruction method. A pre/post-test was administered to both groups in order to find the students? results, while the attitude scale was administered to the experimental group to investigate the experimental group students? attitudes toward using the Kahoot application in learning grammar and vocabulary. Results revealed that there were statistically significant differences between the experimental and control groups in grammar and vocabulary due to the teaching method in favor of using the Kahoot application, and students had positive attitudes toward using the educational Kahoot application in their English vocabulary and grammar |
