هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى استقصاء أثر استخدام تطبيقات ميميرايز/دولينجو لطالبات الصف التاسع لأكتساب المفردات و اتجاهاتهن نحوهم. تتكون افراد الدراسة من 36 طالبًة من الصف التاسع التحقن بدروس المفردات باللغة الإنجليزية في مدرسة خديجة بنت خويلد للبنات. لتحقيق أغراض الدراسة، تم استخدام تصميم شبه تجريبي تضمن الاختبار القبلي / البعدي في الدراسة. كما تم استخدام استبانة تم تطبيقها على المجموعة التجريبية. تم اختيار المشاركين عشوائيًا وقسموا إلى مجموعتين من قبل إدارة المدرسة. تم تقسيمهن بشكل عشوائي إلى مجموعتين: المجموعة التجريبية (16 طالبًة) والمجموعة الضابطة (20 طالبًة)، تم تعليم المجموعة التجريبية اكتساب المفردات باستخدام تطبيقات ميميرايز/دولينجو بينما تعلمت المجموعة الضابطة المفردات باستخدام أسلوب الطريقة الاعتيادية. تم إجراء الاختبار القبلي / البعدي لكلا المجموعتين من أجل معرفة نتائج الطلاب، بينما تم تقديم استبانة إلى المجموعة التجريبية لمعرفة مواقف الطالبات نحو استخدام تطبيقات ميميرايز/دولينجو. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن إجابات معظم الطالبات كانت متفقة ومتوافقة للغاية بعد فحص وتقييم اتجاهاتهن نحو استخدام تطبيقات ميميرايز/دولينجو في تعلمهمن للمفردات. وقد أثبت هذا أن استخدام تطبيقات ميميرايز/دولينجو له تأثير إيجابي على اتجاهات الطالبات في تعلمهمن اكتساب المفردات. وفقًا لاجابات الطالبات المجموعة التجريبية، قد كان استخدام تطبيقات ميميرايز/دولينجو ممتعًا ومفيدًا في اكتساب المفردات |

This research aimed to investigate the effect of using Memrise as a support for the Duolingo application for the 9th grade students? vocabulary acquisition, and their attitudes toward them. The participants of the study included 36 students from the 9th grade who had joined English Language vocabulary classes at Khadija Bint Khoailed School for Girls. To achieve the purposes of the study, a quasi-experimental design that included pre/post-test was used in the study. In addition, an attitude scale was applied to the experimental group. The participants were divided into two sections by the school administration. The two groups were: The experimental group (20 students) and the control group (16 students). The experimental group was taught vocabulary acquisition using the Memrise and Duolingo applications, while the control group was subjected to study vocabulary acquisition using the regular instruction method. A pre/post-test was administered to both groups in order to find out the students? results, while an attitude scale was administered to the experimental group to assess the students? attitudes toward using the Memrise and Duolingo applications. Results revealed their attitudes toward using the Memrise and Duolingo applications in their learning of vocabulary acquisition. This proved that utilizing the Memrise and Duolingo Applications has a positive effect on students' attitudes in their study of vocabulary acquisition. According to the feedback from the experimental group of students, using the Memrise and Duolingo applications was both enjoyable and beneficial in learning vocabulary |
