تناولت هذه الدراسة ترجمة لعدد من الأطباء الشعراء، وذكرت نماذج مختارة من شعرهم، وكشفت عن أبرز موضوعاتهم الشعرية، وسماتهم الفنية، في العصرين المملوكي والعثماني، وتم تقسيمها إلى: مقدمة وتمهيد وثلاثة فصول وخاتمة.
بيّن التمهيد أهم مجريات الأحداث التي أثرت في شعر الأطباء في العصرين المملوكي والعثماني، من حيث الشكل والمضمون، ودورهم في إحياء الحركة العلمية، واستمرار الحركة الأدبية، وكذلك مفهوم الطب، بصورة عامة، وما يندرج في سياقه من مهن عرفها العرب مثل الكحالة والبيطرة، إضافة إلى بيان علاقة الطب بالأدب، في فترة كثرت فيها الحروب والفتن.
وتضمن الفصل الأول ترجمة لعدد من الأطباء الشعراء، وأبرز مؤلفاتهم، مع بيان أثر المهنة في شعرهم. وتطرّق الفصل الثاني لأبرز الأغراض الشعرية عند أطباء العصرين المملوكي والعثماني، ومنها: المدائح النبوية، والشعر التعليمي، والغزل، والوصف وغيرها.
واشتمل الفصل الثالث والأخير على أهم السمات الفنية لأشعار أولئك الأطباء، من حيث الإيقاع، واللغة، والصورة الفنية وبناء القصيدة.
وخلصت الدراسة إلى جملة من النتائج أهمها: غزارة المادة الشعرية التي أنتجها الأطباء في هذه المدة، وعمق صلتهم بالتراث الأدبي، ووجود نتاج أدبي مميز لديهم، صوَّرَ حياة المجتمع سياسيا، واجتماعيا، وعلميا، كما أدرجت الباحثة جملة من التوصيات التي يمكن أن يستفيد منها الباحثون في دراساتهم |

This study dealt with the translation of a number of poets doctors, and mentioned selected models of the poetry, and revealed the most prominent topics, and artistic features, which spread in the Mamluk and Ottoman eras.
It was divided into: an introduction, preface, three chapters, and conclusion. In the introduction, the researcher dealt with the most important course of events that affected me.
Physicians' poetry in the Mamluk and Ottoman eras, in terms of form content. and their role in the revival of the scientific movement, and continuity. The literary movement, in two eras in, which wars and strife abounded, and the researcher also dealt with the relationship between medicine and literature, and included the chapter the first is a translation of a number of poet-doctors. and their most prominent works with
a statement the impact of the profession in their poetry. The second chapter mentioned the main objectives poetry of doctors of the Mamluk and Ottoman eras, including praises prophetic educational poetry, spinning description and other the stuff. As for the third chapter, it included the most important technical features..
For the poems of these doctors, in terms of building the poem, language and weights and rhymes, and artistic images, also dealt with irony and humor in their poetry-
