هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على الضمانات الدستورية و القانونية لحق الانتخاب في الاردن و أهمية تلك الضمانات في سير العملية الانتخابية إعمالا لمبدأ الفصل بين السلطات و لتحييد السلطة التتنفيذية من التدخل في نتائج الانتخابات لكي لا يتمخض عنها مجلس نواب تابع للحكومة بدلا من وجود مجلس يراقب عمل الحكومة .
حيث تم جمع المعلومات المتوفرة عن الموضوع و تحليلها بحيادية و موضوعية خلال فترة زمنية او فترات زمنية معلومة و تفسير النتائج و محاولة إسقاطها على التجربة الانتخابية في الاردن من حيث القواعد القانونية المتعلقة بهذة الضمانات و من حيث التطبيق العملي على أرض الواقع، مع التطرق إلى تجارب دول أخرى .
وخلصت الدراسة الى :
أن الضمانات الدستورية التي كفلها الدستور الاردني في حق الانتخاب و الترشح في المجالس النيابية تتناسب مع المعاييير الدولية ومع قانون الانتخاب الاردني الذي جاء منسجما في معظم فقراتة مع المعايير العالمية التي تنظم حق الانتخاب على الرغم ان حق الانتخاب في الاردن مقيد بالسن للمرشح، ومنع المنتسبين للقوات المسلحة و الامن العام و الشرطة و الدفاع المدني و المخابرات العامة من الانتخاب وهو لم يأخذ بالمساواة بين الناخبين كما اخذ بنظام تمثيل الاقليات

This study aimed to identify the constitutional and legal guarantees of the right to vote in Jordan and the importance of these guarantees in the conduct of the electoral process in implementation of the principle of separation of powers and to improve the executive authority from interfering in the election results so that parliament does not scrutinize them instead of having a council that monitors the work Government
Where the available information on the subject was collected and analyzed impartially and objectively during a certain period of time or periods of time. The results were interpreted and tried to be applied to the electoral experience in Jordan in terms of the legal rules related to these guarantees and in terms of practical application on the ground، with reference to the experiences of other countries
The study concluded: The constitutional guarantees guaranteed by the Jordanian constitution regarding the right to vote and to run for parliament are in line with international standards، and the Jordanian election law، which was in most of its paragraphs consistent with international standards regulating the right to vote، despite the fact that the right to vote in Jordan is restricted by the age of the candidate، and members of the armed forces are prohibited. The armed forces، public security، police and civil defense from the election did not take equality between voters when the minority representation system was adopted
