هدفت الدراسة إلى توضيح دور منظمات المجتمع المدني في تمكين الشباب سياسيا، والوقوف على أهميته خصوصا في ظل الأحداث التي نعيشها ومعرفة أهم العوامل التي تساعد على ذلك، والبحث في كل الوسائل التي يتم استثمار طاقات الشباب من خلالها في هذا المجال.
وركزت في هذا الجانب على دور المعهد الديمقراطي الوطني في عملية التمكين السياسي وأثر هذا التمكين على الشباب من الناحية السياسية، وتنطلق الدراسة من فرضية مفادها أن عملية التمكين السياسي يجب أن تكون حقيقية وواقعية وتقاس بوقت زمني، وهدف واضحين من أجل قياس أثرها على الشباب المنخرطين في العمل السياسي.
واستخدمت هذه الدراسة "منهج التحليل الوصفي"، حيث أنه يتم استخدامه لدراسة ووصف الظواهر والمشكلات العلمية وصف واضح للوصول إلى تفسيرات منطقية وواقعية والخروج بعدد من الأسباب التي أدت لحدوث الظاهرة أو المشكلة.
ومنهج التحليل الوصفي ينقسم إلى عدة أقسام حسب طبيعة البحث العلمي، وفي دراستنا هذه سيتم استخدام منهج دراسة الحالة والذي يندرج تحت منهج التحليل الوصفي، والقائم على دراسة الموضوعات من خلال تجميع البيانات اللازمة وتحليلها وإسقاطها على ظواهر أخرى مشابهة.
وأجابت الدراسة على السؤال المحوري التالي:
ما دور منظمات المجتمع المدني في تمكين الشباب سياسيا؟
وخلصت الدراسة إلى النتائج التالية:
1. دور منظمات المجتمع المدني في تمكين الشباب سياسيا في الأردن.
2. أهمية تمكين الشباب سياسيا.
3. كيفية اغتنام الفرص من قبل الشباب وخصوصا في المشاركة السياسية.
4. دور المعهد الديمقراطي الوطني وأهم برامجه في تمكين الشباب سياسيا في الأردن.
5. نسبة الشباب المنخرطين في المجال السياسي وطرح نماذج شبابية استفادت من فرص التمكين السياسي على المستوى الوطني.

The study aimed to clarify the role of civil society organizations in the political empowerment of young people, and to stand on what is its important, especially in the light of the events that we're experiencing, and to know the most important factors that help in the political empowerment of young people, search into all means by which young people's energies can be invested in this field.
In this regard, I focused on the role of the Democratic Institute in political empowerment and the role of youth in politics, the study goes off from the hypothesis that the process of political empowerment is real, realistic, time-measured and clearly targeted in order to measure its impact on young people involved in political work.
This study used descriptive analysis method which used to study and description of scientific phenomena and problems that is clearly used to arrive at logical and realistic explanations and to find a number of reasons for the phenomenon or problem.
The descriptive approach is divided into several sections, depending on the nature of the scientific research, and in this study, the case-study approach, which falls under the descriptive approach, is based on the study of subjects by compiling, analysing and projecting evidence to similar phenomena.
The study answers to the following central question:
What's the role of civil society organizations in empowering young people politically?
This study concluded to the following results:
1. The role of civil society organizations in empowering young people politically.
2. The importance of youth political empowerment.
3.How to seize opportunities by young people, especially in political participation.
4. Role of the National Democratic Institute and the most important projects in the political empowerment of young people in Jordan.
5. Proportion of young people involved in politics offering youth models that have benefited from opportunities for political empowerment at the national level
