هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور الجامعات الاردنية في تعزيز المشاركة المدنية 2011-2021 بالتطبيق على ادارة العلاقات العامة و التعاون الدولي- جامعة آل البيت. وقامت الدراسة على فرضيتين مفادهما: (أن الجامعات تسهم في تعزيز المشاركة المدنية من خلال إدارة العلاقات العامة والتعاون الدولي في جامعة آل البيت، وأن العلاقات العامة في جامعة آل البيت تسهم في إبراز صورة الجامعة بشكل لائق من خلال تعاملها مع المجتمعات المحلية الأردنية).
في حين تبلور سؤال إشكالية الدراسة بالسؤال المحوري التالي: ( ما المدى الذي لعبته الجامعات في تعزيز المشاركة المدنية للفترة الواقعة بين الأعوام (2011-2021)؟. وللتحقق من صحة الفرضية تم استخدام منهج التكامل المنهجي، ومنهج البنائية الوظيفية، ومنهج دراسة الحالة.
هذا وقد توصلت الدراسة الى صحة الفرضية، والاجابة عن سؤالها المحوري، كما توصلنا الى عدة استنتاجات أهمها: أن الجامعة ابرز المؤسسات العلمية في إذكاء الوعي الإنساني، أن الجامعة تقوم بعدة أدوار من خلال مضامين ذات أبعاد توعوية مختلفة، أن العلاقات العامة هي المرتكز الرئيسي في تعزيز رسالة الجامعة، كما توصلنا من خلال الاستنتاجات إلى عدة توصيات من أهمها: ضرورة تعديل محتوى المساقات الدراسية في الجامعة لتتماشى مع الواقع، إيلاء العلاقات العامة الاهتمام الذي يليق بسمعة الجامعة للارتقاء برسالتها.

The study aimed to identify the role of Jordanian universities in promoting civic participation 2011-2021 by applying to the Department of Public Relations and International Cooperation - Al al-Bayt University. The study was based on two hypotheses: (that universities contribute to enhancing civic participation through the Department of Public Relations and International Cooperation at Al al-Bayt University, and that public relations at Al al-Bayt University contribute to highlighting the university's image properly through its dealings with Jordanian local communities).
While the problematic question of the study was resolved by the following central question: (What is the extent to which universities played in promoting civic participation for the period between the years (2011-2021). To verify the hypothesis, the methodological integration approach, the functional constructivism approach, and the case study approach were used.
The study reached the validity of the hypothesis, and the answer to its central question, and we reached several conclusions, the most important of which are: that the university is the most prominent scientific institution in raising human awareness, that the university plays several roles through contents of different awareness dimensions, that public relations are the main focus in Strengthening the university?s mission, and through the conclusions, we reached several recommendations, the most important of which are: The necessity of modifying the content of academic courses at the university in line with reality, giving public relations the attention that befits the university?s reputation to advance its mission
