هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى استقصاء مراحل نشأة وبناء وتطور الجيش العربي الأردني بين عامي (1921-1951م)، ونواة تشكيل الجيش ودور الجيش في الحرب والسلام، كما تم تناول قيادات الجيش من الضباط البريطانيين مثل قائد الجيش جلوب باشا، ومن الضباط الأردنيين، وقد تم عرض موضوعات الدراسة كالآتي: تمهيد، حيث تناولت الدراسة موضوع جيش الثورة العربية الكبرى نواة الجيش العربي الأردني، وتضمن الأوضاع السياسية في البلاد العربية تحت الحكم العثماني، وبواعث الثورة العربية الكبرى، وجيوش الثورة العربية، وتوزيعها، وقادتها، وبوادر نشأة الجيش العربي.
أما الفصل الأول فقد تم تناول مراحل نشأة الجيش العربي الأردني وتطوره، وتضمن تشكيلات الجيش العربي في إمارة شرق الأردن، والصعوبات التي واجهها الجيش العربي في مرحلة التأسيس، ومراحل تطور الجيش العربي.
أما الفصل الثاني فقد تم تناول دور الجيش العربي الأردني على الساحة الأردنية، وتضمن حفظ الأمن والاستقرار والنظام داخل الإمارة، والدور الدفاعي ضد الاخطار الخارجية، دور الجيش العربي الأردني في الدفاع عن فلسطين، ودوره في إنهاء الانتداب البريطاني واستقلال إمارة شرق الأردن.

The purpose of this studyto investigate the stages of its origins, construction and development of the Jordanian Arab Army between (1921-1951 AD), the Army formation nucleusand the role of the army in peace and conflict, and the leaders of the army include British leaders, such as Glubb Pasha, and Jordanian leaders. In the first chapter, presented the subject of the Army of the Great Arab Revolt and the origins of the Jordanian Arab Army, included the political situation in the Arab countries during the rule of the Ottoman Empire, the causes of the Great Arab Revolt, the armies of the Arab Revolt, their distribution, their leaders, and the signs of the emergence of the Arab Army.
In the second chapter, the Jordanian Arab Army reviewed its origins and development. and included the formations of the Arab Army in the Emirate of Transjordan, the difficulties that the Arab Army faced in the establishment stage, and the stages of development of the Arab Army.
In the third chapter, the role of the Jordanian Arab Army on the Jordanian arena was reviewed, the chapter included maintaining security, stability and order within the Emirate, the defensive role against external dangers, and the role of the Jordanian Arab Army in defending Palestine, The study came out with a set of results
