تـناولت الدراسة تقصي (أثر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي على التوجهات السياسية للمواطنين الأردنيين) " البادية الشمالية حالة دراسة" حيث قامت الدراسة على جزأين نظري وتطبيقي, النظري: بالتعرض لأهم المتغيرات والمفاهيم ذات العلاقة, والتطبيقي: من خلال تطبيق استبانة قوامها(400) مفردة على عينة من مجتمع الدراسة, حيث تم استخلاص النتائج من خلال استخدام المنهج الإحصائي.
وللإجابة على السؤال المحوري, ما دور شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي في تشكيل التوجهات السياسية لدى أفراد المجتمع الأردني؟ والأسئلة التي تفرعت منه, خلصت الدراسة في جانبها النظري أن هناك أثراً كبير لمواقع التواصل الاجتماعي في تشكيل التوجهات السياسية, وذلك من خلال رصد العلاقة بين متغيرات الدراسة, وبيان تأثير تلك المواقع في تشكيل توجهات الرأي السياسية من الناحية العلمية, باستخدام المنهج الوصفي ومنهج الاتصال, وبالاستناد إلى النظريات المستخدمة في الدراسة, وباستخدام المراجع ذات العلاقة بموضوع الدراسة.
كما تـناولت الدراسة, تقصي أثر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي في تشكيل التوجهات السياسية, من خلال تطبيق استبانة قوامها ( 400) عينة, وخلصت إلى النتائج التالية: عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05) في جميع أقسام عينة الدراسة, تعزى لمتغير النوع. وجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية, عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05) في تأثير مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي, على معظم محاور الدراسة, لصالح الشباب بعمر(20الى40). وتشير أن مجمل المتوسطات الحسابية لدرجات موافقة أفراد العينة حول تأثير مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي على المواطنين الاردنيين, في كل محاور الدراسة, تراوحت قيمها بين (3.96 ? 4.72) وجميعها بدرجات موافقة كبيرة جدا. مما يثبت قدرة مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي على التأثير في تشكيل التوجهات السياسية, لدى المواطنين الاردنيين .

The study attempted to investigate (the impact of social networking sites on the political attitudes of Jordanian citizens) ?Northern Badia, a case study?, where the study was based on two parts, theoretical and practical, theoretical: by exposure to the most important variables and related concepts, and practical: by applying a questionnaire consisting of (400) individual to a sample. From the study population, where the results were extracted through the use of the statistical method.
In order to answer the central question, what is the role of social networks in shaping the political orientations of members of Jordanian society? and the questions that branched from it, the study concluded in its theoretical aspect that there is a significant impact of social networking sites in shaping political trends, by monitoring the relationship between the study variables, and showing the impact of those sites in shaping political opinion trends from a scientific point of view, using the descriptive approach and the communication method, based on the theories used in the study, and using references related to the subject of the study.
The study also attempted to investigate the impact of social networking sites in shaping political trends, through the application of a questionnaire consisting of (400) samples, and concluded the following results: There are no statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05) in all sections of the study sample, due to the gender variable. There are statistically significant differences, at the significance level (0.05) in the impact of social networking sites, on most of the study axes, in favor of young people aged (20 to 40 ). It indicates that the total arithmetic averages of the degrees of approval of the sample members, about the impact of social networking sites on Jordanian citizens, in all axes of the study, their values ranged between (3.96 - 4.72) and all of them are very large degrees of approval. Which proves the ability of social networking sites to influence the formation of political trends among Jordanian citizens
