هدفت هذه الدراسة الى معرفة مستوى فهم طبيعة العلم والمسعى العلمي لدى معلمي العلوم في الاردن في ضوء بعض المتغيرات، تكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع معلمي العلوم في لواء قصبة المفرق ، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (160) معلما ومعلمة، وتم استخدام المنهج الوصفي، ولجمع بيانات الدراسة تم تطبيق اختبار فهم طبيعة العلم، واختبار فهم طبيعة المسعى العلمي . اظهرت نتائج الدراسة ان درجة فهم معلمي العلوم لطبيعة العلم وطبيعة المسعى العلمي متدنية ودون المستوى المقبول تربويا ، كما اظهرت وجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (=0.05?) لدرجة فهم المعلمين لطبيعة العلم تعزى لمتغير التخصص الاكاديمي لصالح تخصص الاحياء، وايضا لأثر الخبرة التدريسية لصالح ممن خبرتهم خمس سنوات وأكثر، ولم تظهر النتائج فروقا ذات دلالة احصائية تعزى لمتغير الجنس ، والتفاعل بين متغيرات الدراسة، كما أظهرت النتائج ايضا وجود فروق ذات دلالة أحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (=0.05?) لدرجة فهم المعلمين لطبيعة المسعى العلمي تعزى لمتغيرالجنس ، لصالح الاناث ولمتغيرالخبرة التدريسية ، لصالح المعلمين ذوي الخبرة خمس سنوات وأكثر ، ولم تظهر النتائج فروقا ذات دلالة احصائية تعزى للتخصص الاكاديمي، والتفاعل بين متغيرات الدراسة. وخلصت الدراسة الى مجموعة من التوصيات ، منها : اعادة النظر ببرامج تأهيل المعلمين قبل الخدمة، وعقد دورات تدريبية للمعلمين قبل واثناء الخدمة، مع اجراء المزيد من الابحاث في هذا المجال. |

This study aimed to know the level of understanding the nature of science and the scientific enterprise of science teachers in Jordan in the light of some variables. The study population consisted of all science teachers in the Kasbah of Mafraq district, and the study sample consisted of (160) male and female scince teachers. Descriptive approach was used. To collect data, the understanding of the nature of science test and the understanding of the nature of the scientific enterprise were applied. The results of the study showed that the degree of science teachers' understanding of the nature of science and the nature of the scientific enterprise is low and below the educationally acceptable level. It also showed that there were statistically significant differences at the significance level (? = 0.05) to the degree of teachers' understanding of the nature of science due to the variable of academic specialization in favor of biology subject, and also to the effect of teaching experience in favor of those with five years of experience and more, the results did not show statistically significant differences due to the gender variable, and due to the interaction between the study variables. The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences at the significance level (? = 0.05) to the degree of teachers? understanding of the nature of the scientific enterprise due to the gender variable, in favor of females and the variable of teaching experience, in favor of teachers with experience five years and more. The results did not show statistically significant differences due to academic specialization, and the interaction between study variables. The study recommended that: reconsidering the pre-service teacher qualification programs, holding training courses for teachers before and during service, with more research in this field |
