تهدف هذه الرسالة إلى تحديد الممارسات التداخلية في تصوير الصراع الفلسطيني-الإسرائيلي ضمن "مدونة مخصصة" تحوي على ما يقارب 70.000 كلمة والتي جمعت من خلال صحيفة الإندبندنت والتي تعتبر صحيفة موجهة في الغرب وقد تبنى الباحث نظرية تحليل الخطاب النقدي من أجل تحليل العينة والتي تغطي شهري كانون الأول و كانون الثاني. و تحتوي هذه المدونة على عينة من المقالات والتي تناولت موضوع إعلان دونالد ترامب للقدس كعاصمة رسمية لإسرائيل. واعتمدت الدراسة بشكل أساسي على خلفيات نظرية مختلفة شكلت من قبل فييركلاف (1995ب) و فان دايك (2001), (2005), (2008) ووداك و وييس (2005) إضافة إلى لوويين (2008). بعكس توقعات الباحث والتي كانت تستند على إمكانية وقوف الصحيفة مع الطرف الفلسطيني بفعل أنها "أحد أكثر الصحف التي تنتهج أسلوب التفكير الحر في نقل الأحداث الوقعة", فقد أظهرت الدراسة التي أجريت بأن صحيفة الإندبندنت قد اعتمدت على مماراسات تداخلية غير مباشرة مختلفة منها بلاغيات الحرب والخطاب الديني وتقنيات الإنحدار والإستساغة والعنونة والتماثلية وآليات ثابتة و مصطلحات تقييمية والتي رسمت علاقات هرمية/هيكلية سادتها النفوذ الأمريكية والتي توازنت مع المصلحة الإسرائيلية ضد الصوت الفلسطيني لإزالة شرعية الفلسطينيين من أجل سيادة مدينة القدس. وختمت الدراسة بأن صحيفة الإندبندنت ذات أساس إيديولوجي موجه يعرف بالمبدأ المحافظ بمقتضى الإستراتيجيات التداخلية والتي ابقت على الثنائية الجوهرية بين الصحيفة والإسرائليين ضد الفلسطينيين والتي استخدمت على نحو مقصود لإثراء براجماتية إزالة شرعية الآخرين لسيادة مدينة القدس, واستلزمت, ايضا, التنقيب عن تفاصيل أثارت ملتصقات عرقية ودينية وثقافية من أجل إصابة معتقدات معرفية محددة. علاوة على ذلك, فقد أوصت الدراسة بتنفيذ دراسة أخرى تهدف إلى التعريف بتقنيات المراوغة والتي اتبعت من قبل الصحيفة لعدم الوقوف المباشر من قبل القارئ على الأساس الإيديولوجي لها في مدة تمتد بين كانون الاول- كانون الثاني, شباط ? نيسان, و أيار. |

This study aims at identifying the discursive practices in depicting the representations of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict within a ?specialized corpus?, about seventy thousand words, from the Independent, a leading representative newspaper in the West, by adopting Critical Discourse Analysis, CDA, covering the period between December 2017 and January 2018. The texts of this corpus comprise a sample of articles which approached the subject of Donald Trump?s declaration of Jerusalem to be the official capital of Israel. The study has fundamentally relied on various theoretical backgrounds related to CDA mainly stated by Fairclough 1995b; Van Dijk 2001; 2005 & 2008; Wodak and Weiss 2005; and Leeuwen 2008. Unlike the researcher's expectations of the newspaper as it could have stood a pro-side by the Palestinians as it was defined as ?[t]he world's most free-thinking newspaper?, the study showed that the Independent has used various discursive practices; calling the unmarked, belligerent rhetoric, religious discourse, down-grading techniques, euphemism, labelization, assimilation, stable mechanisms and evaluative terms, to draw hierarchical and/or structural power relations between in-group American voice parallelized with Israeli voice and out-group Palestinian voice to delegitimize the Palestinians' sense of sovereignty of Jerusalem. The study concluded that the Independent is a conservative newspaper by the virtue of the discursive strategies which were used to maintain the politics of polarity that emerged the dichotomy of in-group-self of the newspaper's personnel and the Israelis and out-group-other of the Palestinians. As a result, the newspaper consciously attached the de-legitimate pragmatism to the out-group-others', the Palestinians, sovereignty of Jerusalem. As well, the newspaper presupposingly delved into sensationalist details defined the involved relations ethnically, religiously and culturally in order to trigger the readers' specific cognitive knowledge beliefs.
