هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التحقق من تأثير التواصل المدعم بالفيديو على الكفاءة الما وراء لغوية والسلوك لطلاب الصف السابع من اللغة الإنجليزية كلغة أجنبية. حاولت الدراسة الإجابة على الأسئلة التالية:
1-هل هناك أي فرق ذي دلالة إحصائية بين الكفاءة الما وراء لغوية لطلاب المجموعة التجريبية والضابطة بسبب استراتيجية التدريس VMC مقابل الأداة العادية؟
2-هل توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في إتقان طلبة المجموعة التجريبية للجوانب اللغوية (الجانب النطقي وغير اللفظي)؟
3-ما اتجاهات طلاب المجموعة التجريبية من استخدام VMC وأثرها في سلوكهم؟
تكونت عينة الدراسة من (30) طالبة في الصف السابع بمدرسة المنبر الخاصة بالمفرق / صبحا
مديرية التربية والتعليم خلال الفصل الدراسي الأول من العام الجامعي 2019/2020. تكونت عينة الدراسة من مجموعتين: المجموعة الأولى مكونة من)15) طالبه تم اختيارهم كمجموعة تجريبية، والمجموعة الثانية تكونت من (15) طالبه تم تعيينهم كمجموعة ضابطة، وتم تدريس المجموعة الضابطة من قبل المعلمة بشكل تقليدي (باستخدام كتاب ورقي) بينما المجموعة التجريبية تم تدريسها باستخدام استراتيجية VMC من قبل المعلمة نفسها.
تم تصميم اختبار تمهيدي واستبانه للتأكد من عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في الكفاءة الما وراء لغوية والسلوك بين المجموعة التجريبية والمجموعة الضابطة، وتم إجراء اختبار لاحق واستبانه للمجموعة التجريبية بعد التجربة.
أظهرت نتائج تحليل بيانات الاختبار القبلي والبعدي أن المجموعة التجريبية أظهرت زيادة ملحوظة في أدائها في الكفاءة والمهاره الما وراء لغويه ، وأشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن استخدام VMC في تدريس اللغة وتعلمها له تأثير كبير على تطوير كفاءة الطلاب في المهاره الما وراء لغوية وسلوكهم. أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن أداء المجموعة التجريبية أفضل من المجموعة الضابطة في مهارة المحادثة بسبب الأسلوب الجديد في تدريس VMC. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن المجموعة التجريبية كانت أكثر تحفيزًا من المجموعة الضابطة. قد يكون هذا بسبب تأثير استخدام استراتيجية VMC التي من خلالها طورت المجموعة التجريبية مهاراتها اللغوية.
Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the effect of video- mediated communication on 7th Grade EFL students? para-linguistic competence and attitude. The study tried to answer the following questions:
Q1- Are there any statistically significant differences between experimental and control group students? paralinguistic competence due to the teaching strategy VMC vs. regular instrument?
Q2- Are there any statistically significant differences in the experimental group students? mastery of each paralinguistic aspect (prosodic and non-verbal) aspects due to the new experiment of using VMC?
Q3- What are the experimental group student's attitudes toward using VMC and its effect on their attitude?
The sample of the study consisted of (30) 7th grade students at AL Manbar Privet School, at Al-Mafraq / East Badia Directorate of Education, during the first semester of the academic year 2019/2020. The sample of the study was of two groups: group one consisted of (15) students, which was chosen as an experimental group, and group two consisted of (15) students, which was assigned as control group. Control group was taught (using paper textbook) whereas the experimental group was taught using VMC strategy, both groups was taught by the same researcher.
A pre-test and a questionnaire were designed to make sure that there was no significant differences in the paralinguistic competence and attitude between the experimental and control groups .A post-test were administered to the experimental group and the control group after the experiment.
The results from the data analysis of pre-test and post-test revealed that the experimental group showed a significant increase in their performance in para-linguistic competence and attitude. The findings of the study indicated that using VMCin language teaching and learning has a significant effect on developing students' para-linguistic competence and attitude. The results of the study indicated that the experimental group performed better than the control group in the speaking aspects due to the new method of using VMC. The results of the study showed that the experimental group has positive attitude toward VMC. This might be due to the effect of using VMC strategy through which the experimental group students have develop their para-linguistic competence and attitude
