The study attempted to identify some of the provisions related to the delay of Zakat, and the position of the scholars regarding it. The questions of Muslims since Islam came about are they not changing, The statement of the jurists ?opinion regarding the delay of Zakat on contemporary questions can only be reached after navigating the texts related to this question, Knowing the opinion of the companions and the jurists, and extracting the reasons and controls for this delay, in order to reach justifications that can be applied to any contemporary issue. It was discussed in this study the fuqaha?s sayings about the legality of delaying zakat to reach the mandatory rulings on him, by showing its reasons and controls, and any issues related to this delay that may be associated with it, such as investing Zakat money in the period of delay, Or dispersed in installments, and indicated the permissible money to delay zakat, with a contemporary model mentioned as an application of that
