Contemporary Arab history is associated with many names of Arab thinkers and historians who had a great intellectual influence, including Muhammad Jamil Beyham (1887-1978 AD), who is being thoroughly discussed in this study The study was divided into an introduction and four chapters. The first chapter dealt with the life of Muhammad Jamil Beyhum in terms of his birth, lineage, study, scientific production, and death. As for the second chapter, the researcher discussed the political, social and intellectual conditions that Beyham had experienced, and the impact that these conditions had on his life and thought. The third chapter dealt with his historical methodology and his perception of the Ottoman history, and contemporary Arab history. Indeed, this chapter shows the strength of Beyham's historical methodology and his creative employment of historical writing in social and political reform.
