هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على أثر استخدام مواقع التواصل الإجتماعي على تعزيز قيم حقوق الإنسان لدى طلبة جامعة آل البيت من خلال الإجابة على السؤال المحوري: "هل يوجد أثر لاستخدام مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي على تعزيز قيم حقوق الإنسان؟". تكونت عينة الدراسة من (461) طالباً وطالبة من طلبة جامعة آل البيت. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي المسحي المعتمد على الاستبانة في عملية جمع البيانات. وخلصت الدراسة إلى النتائج التالية:
- بينت النتائج أنَّ أثر استخدام مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي على تعزيز قيم حقوق الإنسان من وجهة نظر طلبة الجامعة جاء بدرجة مرتفعة، حيث جاء بالمرتبة الأولى مجال "حق الخصوصية والسرية" بمستوى مرتفع، وفي المرتبة الثانية مجال "حق الحصول على المعلومات" بمستوى مرتفع، وجاء مجال "حق التعبير عن الرأي" في المرتبة الأخيرة بمستوى مرتفع.
- أشارت النتائج إلى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لأثر الجنس والمستوى الدراسي في أثر استخدام مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي على تعزيز قيم حقوق الإنسان من وجهة نظر طلبة الجامعة.
في ضوء النتائج توصي الدراسة بالعمل على تصميم مواقع إلكترونية على شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي تسعى إلى تعزيز بعض القيم الإيجابية وخفض بعض القيم السلبية في ضوء أنَّ الدراسة الحالية قد أثبتت الأثر الواضح لمواقع التواصل الاجتماعي في تعزيز الوعي بحقوق الإنسان.

The study aimed to identify the effect of using social media on promoting human rights values among Al al-Bayt University students by answering the central question: Is there an impact of using social media sites on promoting human rights values? The sample of the study consisted of (461) male and female students from Al al-Bayt University. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive survey method based on a questionnaire was used in the data collection process. The study concluded the following results:
The study aimed to investigate the impact of using social media on promoting human rights values among students of Al Al-Bayt University by answering the main question: "Is there an impact of using social media on promoting human rights values?". The sample of the study consisted of (461) male and female students from Al Al-Bayt University. To achieve the aim of the study, survey analytical descriptive design was used for data collection. The study concluded the following results:
- The results showed that the impact of using social media on promoting human rights values from students? point of view was high, as the domain of rights of privacy and confidentiality ranked first with a high level, followed by the domain of information collection with a high level, and finally the domain of the right to express an opinion with a high level.
- The study revealed no statistically significant differences due to gender and educational level in the impact of using social media on promoting human rights values from students? point of view.
In light of the results the study recommends to design websites on social media aims to enhance some positive values and decrease the negative values as the current study revealed that social media have a clear impact in promoting awareness of human rights
