The study aimed to identify the role of "My school initiative" in the empowerment of the administrative cadres working in the Ministry of Education from the point of view of the school principals. The researcher adopted the descriptive survey approach where the study population consisted of all the principals, 124 males and females, of the schools participating in the initiative of "My School" in the North. The researcher was able to obtain their number from the planning department in the Directorates of education of the provinces of the North. As for the study sample, it was chosen through the complete sensus where the researcher distributed (122) questionnaires to the principals of the schools participating in my school initiative out of which 122 questionnaires were retrieved. After reviewing the questionnaires, the researcher found out that there were 3 questionnaires invalid for the statistical analysis; thus the study sample consisted of (119) male and female principals. After the statistical analysis was done, the study concluded that there was a positive role for my school initiative in the empowerment of the administrative cadres of the Ministry of Education from the point of view of the school principals, no statistically significant differences at sig. (??0.05) among the means of the answers of the respondents with regards to the fields of the study tool according to the variables of (gender, service in the job and the educational level) and statistically significant differences at sig. (??0.05) among the means of the answers of the respondents with regards to the fields of (developing the personality and imitating the distinguished) according to the variable of the (scientific qualification). The study recommended the need for holding training courses and workshops on the importance of the administrative empowerment in the public schools
