هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة أثر استخدام استراتيجية النادي الانكليزي المدعم بأفلام الفيديو الاصيلة في مهارات المحادثة والدافعية لمتعلمي اللغة الانكليزية كلغة أجنبية في الصف العاشر في العراق. وقد شارك في الدراسة (40) طالب يدرسون في مدرسة أبن المعتم للبنين في الفصل الدراسي الاول للعام الدراسي 2018- 2019 ، وقد قسموا الى شعبين، شعبة (أ) تكونت من ((20 طالب وقد اختيرت كمجموعة تجريبية، و شعبة (ب) تكونت ايضاً من ((20 طالب وقد اختيرت كمجموعة ضابطة. وقد استمرت التجربة لمدة ثمانية اسابيع.
وتكون الاختبار القبلي والبعد ي من جزء واحد وهو المحادثة لاختبار مهارات المحادثة لدى الطلبة و تكونت الاستبانة من 25 فقرة والتي تقيم اتجاهات المجموعة التجريبية صوب استخدام استراتيجية النادي الانكليزي واثرها على مهارات المحادثة والدافعية لمتعلمي اللغة الانكليزية كلغة أجنبية في الصف العاشر. وتم اختيار الطلاب من كلا المجموعتين في بداية الفصل الاول من العام الدراسي 2018- 2019 وذلك لتحديد المستوى الفعلي في مهارات المحادثة قبل بداية التجربة ، وبعد ثمانية اسابيع تم اجراء الامتحان البعد ي. وقد استخدمت في هذه الدراسة المعايير التالية للحصول على البيانات وهي ( الانحراف المعياري, المتوسط الحسابي وأختبار T ).
وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن كل الطلاب الذين تعلموا باستخدام استراتيجية النادي الانكليزي تحسنت مهارات المحادثة لديهم ودافعيتهم , وبشكل عام أظهرت الدراسة أن استخدام استراتيجية النادي الانجليزي في تعليم اللغة الانجليزية له آثار ايجابية على مهارات المحادثة ودافعية التلاميذ. و بناءً على ذلك ، تم تقديم عدد من التوصيات في نهاية هذه الدراسة.

This study aimed to find out the effect of using Join the Club strategy assisted with authentic videos on EFL students' speaking skill and motivation. It aimed to know whether learning speaking skill by using Join the Club strategy is better than its learning by regular instruction.
The participants of the study consisted of 40 EFL students who study at Ibn Almaetum School for Boys during the first semester of the scholastic year 2018/2019. They were in two sections; section A consisted of 20 students. It was assigned as an experimental group while , section B consisted of 20 students. It was assigned as the control group . The period of the experiment was 8weeks.
The pre and post-tests were of one part; an oral part that tested the EFL students' speaking skill. The questionnaire consisted of 25 items that evaluated the experimental group students ? attitude toward using Join the Club strategy to assess the effect of using the Join Club strategy assisted with authentic videos on EFL students' speaking skill and motivation. Students in both groups sat to an oral test at the beginning of the first semester of the scholastic year 2018/2019 , so as to determine their actual level in speaking skill before starting the experiment. T-test, mean, and standard deviation were used to analyze the collected data.
The findings of the study showed that the experimental group performed better than the control group in their speaking skill and motivation due to the
new strategy of teaching that is Join the Club strategy. On the whole, the study proved that the use of Join the Club strategy in teaching and learning English had a positive effect on students' speaking skill and motivation. Consequently, a number of recommendations were provided at the end of this study
