هدفت هذه الدراسة للتعرف على معايير الحكم الرشيد ودورها في تقييم أداء مجلس النواب الأردني خلال الفترة من (2011-2018) والتعرف على الأداء التشريعي والرقابي للمجلسين النيابيين السابع عشر والثامن عشر، حيث تمثلت مشكلة الدراسة بتساؤلٍ رئيسٍ مفاده: ما أهمية دور مجلس النواب الأردني في تطبيق معايير الحكم الرشيد في الأردن خلال فترة الدراسة (2011-2018)؟
لتحقيق أهداف هذه الدراسة والإجابة على تساؤلاتها والوصول إلى نتائجها المنشودة، فقد استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي الاستنباطي وتحليل النظم، وذلك من خلال طرح مجموعة من الأسئلة الفرعية والفرضيات وصولاً إلى مجموعة من النتائج والتوصيات من أجل تحسين جودة العمل على المستوى السياسي خاصة التشريعي منه للدولة الأردنية.
توصلت ? هذه- الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج كان أبرزها: وجود دور فاعل للمجلسين النيابيين السابع عشر والثامن عشر في تطبيق معايير الحكم الرشيد والمتمثلة بـ: (المشاركة، توافق الآراء، الكفاءة والفعالية، العدالة وسيادة القانون في أدائهما التشريعي والذي تمثل بسن القوانين، والأداء الرقابي من خلال أدوات العمل الرقابي للمجلسين النيابيين السابع عشر والثامن عشر عن طريق طرح الأسئلة النيابية والاستجوابات وطلبات المناقشة.
كما أوصت ? هذه- الدراسة بضرورة التعزيز لمعايير الحكم الرشيد والعمل على تطبيقها داخل المجلس النيابي من خلال برامج توعوية وتثقيفية وتدريبية تساعد على تطبيق معايير الحكم الرشيد المشاركة، توافق الآراء، الكفاءة والفعالية، العدالة وسيادة القانون؛ لما لهذه المعايير من تأثير كبيرٍ على أداء المجلسين النيابيين السابع عشر والثامن عشر.

This study aims to identify the criteria of a good governance and its role in assessing the performance of the Jordanian Parliament during (2011-2018), and also to identify the legislative and control performance of the seventeenth and eighteenth councils, where the problem of this study was a major question: what is the importance of the role of Jordanian Parliament in applying the criteria of good governance in Jordan during (2011-2018)?
In order to achieve the objectives of this study and to answer its questions and reach its results, the researcher used the method of descriptive and analytical approach and systems analysis by offering a set of questions and hypotheses connected to a set of conclusions and recommendations to improve the quality of work on the political level, specially supervisory performance of the Jordanian state.
The study reached to a several conclusions, mostly: An active role of the 17th and 18th Parliamentary councils in the application of the criteria of good governance: participation, efficiency and effectiveness, justice and the rule of law in legislative performance, represented by the legislation of laws and supervisory performance through the monitoring work tools of the 17th and 18th of parliament of deputies by asking parliamentary questions, and requests for discussion.
The study also recommended the need to strength the criteria of good governance and working on application of a culture of application within the parliament through consensus- raising and educational practical programs that help to implement criteria of good governance participation, consensus, efficiency and effectiveness, justice and the rule of law; significant impact on the performance of the 17th and 18th parliamentary councils
