كان دور المرأة في حركة "الخوارج" مختلفاً عن دور أي امرأة أخرى في أي حركة أو حزب أو مجتمع بشري آخر، حيث تركت المرأة هنا بصمات واضحة في تاريخ "الخوارج" سياسياً وعسكريا.
وكانت هذه المساهمة سببا وراء استمرار هذه الحركة لفترة طويلة، هذا الدور الذي عالجته المرأة الخارجية لم يظهر من فراغ حيث إن إيمانها العميق عقلياً - المتأصل في نفسها جعل استجابتها إيجابية لهذه الحركات يحتاج إلى ممارسة المشاركة الحية التي وفرت لها الحرية المطلقة ، وهو نوع من المشاركة التي لا يمكن مقارنتها من قبل أي امرأة في أي حركة أخرى ولم تضطر المرأة إلى القيام بأشياء رفضتها، ومن خلال هذه المشاركة فتم توليها العديد من المهام و كما بينت الدراسة عسكريا و سياسيا، من ناحية دعوة و المشاركة و الامامة كما فعلت الفرقة الشبيبية.
تضمنت هذه الدراسة ثلاثة فصول، بينا في الفصل الأول مفهوم الخوارج وآرائهم وفرقهم ومسمياتهم من ناحية تاريخية ولغوية، وتضمن الفصل الثاني الدور السياسي للمرأة الخارجية، حيث شمل مواقف المعارضة للنساء و صورة المرأة في الشعر الخارجي و دور نساء الخوارج في الفكر الخارجي.
و تضمن الفصل الثالث مشاركة المرأة في القتال مع الخوارج في ساحات المعارك و ثأر النساء الخارجيات، مع ذكر ابرز نساء الخوارج.
و خرجت الدراسة بعدد من النتائج ابرزها ان الخوارج أفسحوا المجال لنساء الخوارج منذ بدايات العصر الاموي بالمشاركة العسكرية حتى ان البعض المؤرخين تحدثوا ع جيش كبير في بعض فرق الخوارج، و ان الخوارج تمثلت قضيتهم بالإمامة و الخلافة ، و أن الصفة التي عرف بها الخوارج انهم شديدون الالتزام بالطقوس الدينية ، لكن الحرب التي شنت عليهم بسبب الجانب الإيدلوجي الذي شكل خطورة على السلطة ، و برزت المرأة خلال المواجهة بين الخوارج كفرقة دينية و السلطة الحاكمة كداعية لفكر الخوارج و مقاتلة في صفوف الخوارج.

The role of women in the "Kharijite" movement was different from that of any other woman in any other movement, party or human society, with women here leaving a clear mark in the history of the Kharijites politically and militarily.
This contribution was the reason for the continuation of this movement for a long time, this role addressed by external women did not emerge from a vacuum since her deep faith mentally - inherent in herself made her positive response to these movements needs to practice live participation that has provided her with absolute freedom, a kind From participation that cannot be compared by any woman in any other movement and the woman did not have to do things that she refused, and through this participation she took on many tasks and as the study showed militarily and politically, in terms of inviting and participating and imamat as did the youth band.
This study included three chapters, which showed in the first chapter the concept of kharijites and their opinions, differences and names from a historical and linguistic point of view, and the second chapter included the political role of foreign women, where it included the positions of opposition to women and the image of women in external poetry and the role of kharijites in external thought.
The third chapter included the participation of women in fighting with the Kharijites on the battlefields and the revenge of foreign women, with the mention of the most prominent women of the Kharijites.
And the study came out a number of results, most notably that the Kharijites gave way to the women of the Kharijites since the beginning of the Umayyad era with military participation, so that some historians talked about a large army in some kharijites, and that the Kharijites were their case in imamat and caliphate, and that the characteristic sought by the Kharijites is that they are strong only To adhere to religious rituals, but the war waged against them because of the ideological aspect that posed a danger to power, and women emerged during the confrontation between the Kharijites as a religious band and the ruling authority as an advocate of the thought of the Kharijites and a fighter in the ranks of the Kharijites
