هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى درجة تطبيق معايير ضمان الجودة في مؤسسات التعليم العالي في الأردن من وجهة نظر القيادات الأكاديمية والإدارية في جامعات إقليم الشمال. واستخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي المسحي. وتم جمع المعلومات من خلال أستبانه شملت خمس معايير لضمان الجودة هي: التخطيط الاستراتيجي، وشؤون الطلبة، والتعليم والتعلم ومصادرة، والبحث العلمي والدراسات العليا، وضمان الجودة. تم توزيع الاستبانة على عينة تكونت من (500) من مجتمع الدراسة. وأظهرت النتائج أنّ درجة تطبيق معايير ضمان الجودة في جامعات الشمال في الاردن متوسطة في جميع المجالات عدا مجال شؤون الطلبة حيث كانت كبيرة، كما بينت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في استجابات أفراد العينة على مقياس درجة تطبيق معايير ضمان الجودة في جامعات الشمال في الاردن تعود لمتغير الجنس والرتبة العلمية والخبرة، ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغير نوع الجامعة لصالح الجامعات الخاصة. وفي ضوء النتائج قدمت الباحثة توصيات عدة منها: التركيز على التدريب ونشر ثقافة الجودة، و دعم وتعزيز القيادات الإدارية والأكاديمية، المقارنة الدورية للأداء، ورسم الخطط بناءً على معايير الجودة، والعدل في الاهتمام على كافة أركان الجامعة وبرامجها وكلياتها ومراكزها، ونشر نماذج الناجحة في تطبيق معايير ضمان الجودة والدعم المادي الحكومي والخاص للجامعات وبرامجها.

 The aim of this study was to identify the degree of application of quality assurance standards in Jordanian higher education institutions from the point of view of the academic and administrative leaders in the universities of the North Region، the researcher used the descriptive method using a questionnaire that applied five criteria for quality assurance: strategic planning، student affairs، teaching، learning and confiscation، scientific research and graduate studies، and quality assurance، the questionnaire was distributed to the study community by a comprehensive survey (500) of them. The results showed that the degree of application of quality assurance standards at the Jordanian universities was medium in all domains except the domain of student affairs which was high. There were no statistically significant differences due to the gender variable، scientific rank and experience، and there were differences of statistical significance due to the variable of the university type for the private universities. In light of these results، the researcher made several recommendations and to support and strengthen administrative and academic leadership، periodic comparison of performance، drawing plans based on quality standards، justice in the attention to all the pillars of the university and its programs and colleges and dissemination of successful models in the application of quality assurance standards and government and private financial support for universities and programs
