تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على مستوى المشاركة المجتمعية في بلديات محافظة المفرق، وذلك من جانب التخطيط للمشاريع التنموية في المحافظة من خلال أعضاء المجلس البلدي (المحلي)، وأعضاء لجان المجتمع المحلي.
وتكون مجتمع الدراسة من ثلاثة بلديات هي (بلدية المفرق الكبرى، وبلدية صبحا والدفيانة، وبلدية الزعتري)، وتم توزيع الاستبانة على عدد (394) عضو من أعضاء المجلس البلدي (المحلي)، وأعضاء لجان المجتمع المحلي، وأعتمد الباحث على أسلوب المسح الشامل لبيان عينة الدراسة، كما واستخدم الباحث عدد من الأساليب الإحصائية منها الأساليب الوصفية، واختبار (One Sample T-test).
وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن مستوى مشاركة أعضاء المجلس البلدي (المحلي) في التخطيط للمشاريع التنموية في بلديات محافظة المفرق (متوسط)، ومستوى مشاركة أعضاء لجان المجتمع المحلي في التخطيط للمشاريع التنموية في بلديات محافظة المفرق (مرتفع).
وقد أوصت الدراسة بجملة من التوصيات من أبرزها: تعزيز أعضاء المجلس البلدي (المحلي) لمستوى متابعتهم الدورية لنتائج اجتماعاتهم مع أعضاء لجان المجتمع المحلي، والعمل على اعتماد توصياتهم بما يتعلق بأسلوب عملهم المجتمعي.

This study aims to identifying the level of community participation in municipalities of al-mafraq governorate from side of planning the development projects in the governorate through the members of the local council and the members of the local community committees.
The study community consists of three municipalities (mafraq al-kubra municipality, subha municipality, al-difaianh, and za'tari municipality); the questionnaire was distributed to (394) members of the local council and the members of the local community committees, the researcher depended on the comprehensive survey method of the study sample, the researcher used a number of statistical methods including descriptive methods and one sample t-test.
The study found that the level of participation of members of the local council in the planning of development projects in the municipalities of mafraq governorate (average), and the level of participation of members of community committees in planning development projects in the municipalities of mafraq governorate (high).
The study recommended a number of recommendations, notably: strengthening the members of the local council for the level of their periodic follow-up to the results of their meetings with the members of the local community committees, and adopt their recommendations regarding their community work style
