هدفت هذه الدراسة التعرف إلى مدى أهمية النشاط الحر في المدارس الحكومية من وجهة نظر مديري مدارس قصبة المفرق . واستخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي المسحي ،وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (81) مديرا ومديرة مدرسة. وتمّ تطوير استبانة تكونت من ستة مجالات المجال الأول: العلوم والتكنولوجيا، والمجال الثاني : الرياضة والصحة، والمجال الثالث: الثقافة ،والمجال الرابع: الفنون والموسيقى، والمجال الخامس: المهني وريادة الاعمال، والمجال السادس: المجال الاجتماعي ، وتكونت فقرات الاستبانة جميعها من (36) فقرة ، وتم التحقق من صدق الأداة وثباتها.
واظهرت نتائج الدراسة مدى اهمية حصص النشاط الحر في المدارس الحكومية من وجهة نظر مديري مدارس قصبة المفرق بدرجة متوسطة في كل المجالات، كما وجاءت النتائج عدم وجود فرق ذي دلالة إحصائية يعزى لأثر متغيرات (الجنس ، الخبرة ، المرحلة الدراسية، المؤهل العلمي) على مستوى الأداة ككل، بينما كان هناك فروق ذات دلالة احصائية تعزى لمتغير المرحلة الدراسية لصالح المرحلة الثانوية .

This study aimed to identify the importance of free activity in public schools from the point of view of the principals of Qasbat Al Mafraq schools. The study sample consisted of (81) male principals and female. A questionnaire was developed from the fields of the first field: Science and Technology and consists of (6) items. And the second area: sports and health, and consists of (6) ) items, the third area: culture, and consists of (6) items. The fourth area: Arts and Music, and it consists of (6) items, the fifth field: vocational and entrepreneurship, and it consists of (6) items, the sixth area: the social field, and it consists of (6) items.
The researcher uses the descriptive method, and verified the validity of the instrument and its stability. The results of the study shows the importance of the free activity in public schools from the point of view of the principals of Qasbat al-Mafraq and shows the results of the study and came in a average degree in all fields.
The results show that there is no statistically significant difference due to the effect of variables (gender, experience, stage, qualification) on the level of the performance as a whole, while there are statistically significant differences due to the variable of the study phase in advantage to the Secondary stage. According to the results, the researcher recommends the following: train the principals and teachers to be able to activate the of free activity classes and activate the free activity on the school schedule, provide the school with places, materials and supplies to implement the activity. prepare the students and the parents and society by convincing them of the importance of free activity classes. And review the manual of school activity that carried out in the activity classes
