هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى دور القيادات الأكاديمية في جامعة آل البيت في تعزيز التقارب الاجتماعي لدى الطلبة وأثر متغيرات ( الجنس والكلية والمستوى الأكاديمي ) في ذلك، واستخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي المسحي، ولتحقيق اهداف الدراسة تم تطوير اداة، تكونت من (37) فقرة موزعة على أربعة مجالات وهي (الطلبة وأعضاء الهيئة التدريسية والإدارة الجامعية والإداريون). وتم التحقق من صدقها وثباتها، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (749) طالباً في جامعة آل البيت. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن دور القيادات الأكاديمية في جامعة آل البيت في تعزيز التقارب الاجتماعي لدى الطلبة من وجهة نظر الطلبة جاء بدرجة متوسطة، وجاءت المجالات مرتبة تنازلياً على التوالي (الطلبة، وأعضاء الهيئة التدريسية، والإدارة الجامعية، والإداريون) حيث جاءت جميع المجالات بدرجة متوسطة. كما اظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة ( ) بين متوسطات استجابات أفراد عينة الدراسة تعزى لمتغير الجنس والكلية بينما دلت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى ( ) تعزى لمتغير المستوى وذلك على جميع المجالات باستثناء مجال الطلبة وجاءت الفروق لصالح مستوى الدراسات العليا ودلت النتائج على عدم وجود فروق تعزى لمتغير المستوى على مجال الطلبة. وأوصت الدراسة بمجموعة من التوصيات أهمها: تفعيل الأنشطة الاجتماعية في الجامعة وذلك لتعزيز التقارب بين الطلبة أنفسهم والطلبة والعاملين في الجامعة. |

The current study aimed at investigating the role of the academic leaders at Al Al Bayt university in enhancing students social convergence and whether the variables of gender, faculty and the academic level have probable effect on students social convergence. In order to fulfill the purpose of the study, the researcher adapted the descriptive approach. Therefore, the instruments used to collect data were: a questionnaire which included 37 paragraph distributed on four categories: students, faculty members, university administration and administrators. The sample of the study consisted of 749 students at Al Bayt University. The results of the study showed that the role of the academic leaders at Al Al Bayt university in enhancing students' social convergence from the student's point of view was moderate. The investigated categories ranked descending respectively as the following: students, faculty members, university administration and administrators. Additionally, the findings revealed that there were no statistically significant differences at (?= 0.05) between the average of the participant's responses of the study due to gender and faculty members variables. However, the results showed that there were statistically significant differences at (?= 0.05) due to the variable of level for all the categories except for the category of students. The differences were in favor of high studies students/postgraduate students. The findings also showed that there were no significant differences due to the variable of level on student's category. The study came up with various recommendations concerning student's activities such as activating the social activities within the university in order to enhance the convergence between students themselves and the students and the employees of the university |
