هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى دور مديري المدارس الثانوية في دولة الكويت في تعزيز الأمن الوطني، وأثر كل من متغيرات الجنس، والمؤهل العلمي، وسنوات الخبرة، وتكون مجتمع الدراسة وعينتها من جميع مديري المدارس الثانوية في دولة الكويت والبالغ عددهم (140) مدير ومديرة، وبلغ عدد الإستبانات المستردة والقابلة للتحليل الإحصائي (131) استبانة، واستخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي المسحي، واستخدم استبانه تكونت من (48) فقرة توزعت على اربعة مجالات (الأمن الفكري، والأمن الصحي، والأمن النفسي، والأمن الاجتماعي) وتم التأكد من صدقها وثباتها.
وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن الدرجة الكلية لدور مديري المدارس الثانوية في دولة الكويت في تعزيز الأمن الوطني جاءت بدرجة "مرتفع " في جميع المجالات، حيث جاء مجال الأمن الاجتماعي في المرتبة الأولى بدرجة مرتفعة بمتوسط حسابي بلغ (3,80)، بينما جاء في المرتبة الثانية الامن الصحي بدرجة مرتفعة بمتوسط حسابي بلغ (3.79)، وجاء في المرتبة الثالثة الامن النفسي بدرجة مرتفعة بمتوسط حسابي بلغ (3.73) وجاء في المرتبة الاخيرة الأمن الفكري وبمتوسط حسابي بلغ (3,71)، وأظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تبعاً لمتغير الجنس في جميع المجالات ما عدا مجال الأمن الفكري وكانت الفروق لصالح الذكور وعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لأثر المؤهل العلمي، وأظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لأثر الخبرة لصالح 10 سنوات فأكثر في جميع المجالات وفي الدرجة الكلية. وفي ضوء نتائج الدراسة أوصت الدراسة بمجموعة من التوصيات: تعزيز مديري المدارس الثانوية بدولة الكويت بحوافز مختلفة، لحثهم على الاستمرار بتعزيز الأمن الوطني في المدراس الثانوية، والعمل على نقل التجارب الناجحة في كيفية تعزيز الأمن الوطني ومجالاته الرئيسة للمدارس الثانوية بدولة الكويت بشكل مستمر، تنظيم وعقد دورات تدريبية وورش عمل ومحاضرات لمديري المدارس الثانوية بشكل مستمر حول كيفية تعزيز الأمن الوطني في المجالات (الأمن الفكري، الأمن الاجتماعي، الأمن الصحي، الأمن النفسي) للمحافظة على الدرجة المرتفعة بتعزيز الأمن الوطني لدى الطلبة.

The study aimed to identify the role of secondary school principals in the State of Kuwait in enhancing national security and the effect of the variables of gender, scientific qualifications and years of experience. The study was conducted on all of the principals of male and female secondary schools. The descriptive approach was used in this study. After its reliability and validity had been verified, a questionnaire consisting of (48) items distributed on four dimensions (intellectual security, health security, psychological security, social security) was used as the research instrument for collecting data.
The results of the study showed that the overall degree of the role of secondary school principals in the State of Kuwait in enhancing national security came at a "high" level in all fields, Where the field of social security ranked first with a high average of (3.80), While the second place was the highest health security with an average of (3.79), In third place, the psychological security was high with an average of (3.73) and the last rank was the intellectual security with an average of (3.71). The last place was the intellectual security with an average of (3.71), There were no statistically significant differences in the participants? responses due to impact of gender on all dimensions except on intellectual security.3) There were no statistically significant differences in the participants? responses due to impact of educational qualification, while there were differences because of the impact of years of experience in favor of 10 years and more in all fields and in the total score.
In light of the results of the study, the study recommended a number of recommendations, including: strengthening the principals of secondary schools in the State of Kuwait with various incentives, to encourage them to continue to strengthen national security in secondary schools and to transfer successful experiences in how to enhance national security and its main areas of secondary schools in Kuwait. Training courses, workshops and lectures for high school principals on how to enhance national security in the areas of intellectual security, social security, health security and psychological security
