The study aimed to identify the role of the Independent Commission in the Jordanian elections in 2016 from the perspective of employees in the Ministry of Interior, The sample of the study consisted of (200) employees working at Jordanian Ministry of Interior selected randomly. To achieve the objective of the study, a descriptive survey analytical design was used as a questionnaire assessing the role of the Independent Commission in the Jordanian elections in 2016 from the perspective of employees in the Ministry of Interior was developed. The result of the study indicated that the role of the Independent Commission in the Jordanian elections in 2016 from the perspective of employees in the Ministry of Interior was positive. It was found that the Independent Electrical Commission greatly contributed in returning trust in the election process in Jordan as the mistakes committed in the election process decreased significantly. The results of the study showed that the Independent Electrical Commission was greatly concerned with conducting transparent and credible elections which greatly influence the democratic process. In light of the results, the study suggested some recommendations including that Commission organize meetings with universities, political parties, local community organizations to make them more aware of the commission; clarifying its rule and work mechanisms, in addition encouraging the participation in elections
