هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على اثر استخدام الفيديوهات الاصيلة كواحدة من اكثر الأدوات الفعالة في تدريس وتعليم اللغات الأجنبية وقياس تأثيرها على المهارات اللفظية والدافعية لمتعلمي اللغة الانكليزية كلغة أجنبية.
حاولت الدراسة الإجابة عن الأسئلة التالية :
س1: هل هناك فروق ذات دلالة احصائية بين متوسط العلامات بين المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطة في المهارات اللفظية تُعزى الى ( استخدام الفيديوهات الاصيلة مقابل الطريقة الاعتيادية) ؟
س2: في أي مهارة لفظية تطور طلاب المجموعة التجريبية أكثر نتيجة لاستخدام الفيديوهات الاصيلة كمادة تعليمية ؟
س3: ما هو تأثير استخدام الفيديوهات الاصيلة على دافعية متعلمي اللغة الانكليزية؟
تكونت عينة الدراسة من (68) طالبة من مدرسة عالية بنت الحسين الثانوية للبنات خلال الفصل الدراسي الثاني للعام 2015-2016 وزعوا على شعبتين: شعبة (1) تكونت من (34) طالبة، اختيروا كمجموعة تجريبية و شعبة (2) تكونت من (34)طالبة، اختيروا كمجموعة ضابطة. تم جمع البيانات خلال 8 أسابيع. تكون الامتحان القبلي والبعدي من جزئيين: جزء لفظي وسمعي وجزء استبانة .
لتقييم مدى تأثير الفيديوهات الاصيلة على المهارات اللفظية والدافعية لمتعلمي اللغة الانكليزية كلغة أجنبية، أُخضعت طالبات المجموعتين لامتحان لفظي وسمعي كما أجبنَ على استبانة لبيان مدى قدراتهم اللفظية والدافعية لديهنَ قبل إجراء التجربة في بداية الفصل الدراسي الثاني للعام الدراسي 2015-2016 وبعد ثمانية أسابيع أُخُضعت الطالبات لنفس الامتحان كامتحان بعدي.
أشارت نتائج الدراسة بان أداء المجموعة التجريبية كان أفضل من المجموعة الضابطة في العناصر اللفظية نتيجة المادة التعليمية الجديدة وهي استخدام الفيديوهات الاصيلة. كما وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة بان طالبات المجموعة التجريبية كُنَ مندفعات أكثر من طالبات المجموعة الضابطة وربما يُعزى لأثر استخدام الفيديوهات الاصيلة.
بناء على ذلك قُدمت مجموعة من التوصيات في ضوء نتائج الدراسة.

This study aimed at investigating the extent to which authentic videos affect the development of the oral skills and motivation of EFL learners. More specifically, the study tried to answer the following questions:
Q1: Are there any statistical significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups students' performance in the oral skills at a. ? 0.05 due to the instructional programs (authentic videos vs. regular instruction)?
Q2: Which oral skill did the experimental group students develop the most as a result of using authentic videos?
Q3: What is the effect of using authentic videos on developing students' motivation?
The sample of the study consisted of (68) tenth grade students from Allya Bint Alhussein Secondary School for girls in AL-Mafraq, during the second semester of the scholastic year 2015/2016.The sample of the study was of two groups: Group one consisted of (34) students, and group two consisted of (34) students. The pre-test and post-test were of two parts; a speaking and listening tests that tested students' ability to interact appropriately in communicative settings, and a questionnaire.
To assess the effect of using authentic videos on EFL learners? oral skills and motivation, students in both groups sat for a speaking and listening test at the beginning of the second semester of the academic year 2015/2016 so as to determine their actual knowledge before starting the experiment. The results of the study indicated that the experimental group performed better than the control group in the oral skills due to the new method of teaching that is Authentic videos. The results of the study showed that the experimental group was more motivated rather than the control group. This might be due to the effect of using authentic videos. Accordingly, a set of recommendations were provided at the end of this study
