تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن دور مؤسسات المجتمع المدني وذلك من خلال التركيز على دور (صندوق الملك عبد الله الثاني للتنمية) في تنمية وتمكين الشباب الأردني .
وقامت الدراسة على فرضية رئيسية مفادها ان هناك علاقة ارتباطية ايجابية بين الدور الذي يلعبه صندوق الملك عبد الله الثاني للتنمية في تنمية وتمكين الشباب الأردني خاصة في المجالين السياسي والاقتصادي ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم اختبار فرضيات للإجابة على أسئلة الدراسة وقد تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي وأسلوب دراسة الحالة وقد توصلت هذه الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج كان من أهمها :
على الرغم على أن هناك دور ايجابي لمؤسسات المجتمع المدني الأردني وصندوق الملك عبد الله الثاني للتنمية، إلا أن هذا الدور بقى محدودا وذلك بسبب القيود الواردة على مؤسسات المجتمع المدني بناء على النتائج التي يتم التوصل إليها. قدم الباحث مجموعة من التوصيات اهمها : لابد من تشجيع مؤسسات المجتمع المدني لضم الشباب الى برامجها المختلفة ليشاركوا في عملية صنع القرار فيما يتعلق بقضايا الشباب.

This study aimed to investigate the role of civil society organizations in enabling the Jordanian youth by focusing on the role of King Abdullah II Fund for Development as a case study. The main hypothesis in the study states that there is a positive correlation between the role played by King Abdullah II Fund for Development and the development of civil society and empowering Jordanian youth, particularly in the political and economic perspectives.
To achieve the study goals and examine this relationship, and answer the research questions, the study used the descriptive analysis approach being the best for analyzing the relationship between the role of civil society organizations and empowering youth.
The study reached the following results: the first conclusion of the study is that although there is an active role played by development and human rights organizations, but there is obvious weak influence of civil society organizations upon decision makers, this weakness of Jordan?s civil society is closely related to the overall limitation of the political opposition in Jordan.
The study provided a number of recommendations, the most important is the need for encouraging civil society organizations to involve youth in different programs and the policy-making process that can empower youth to build their strengths, and help policy makers view youth as a resource to inform their decisions, and result in policies and priorities that are more relevant to youths' lives
