The purpose of this study was to determine "the degree of implementing information and telecommunication technology teachers social studies in Mafraq Governate". For the purpose of achieving the objectives of the study, the researcher built a questionnaire consisting of (51) items, was used descriptive approach, the study sample consisted of 104 male and female teachers. The results showed that social studies teachers in the Governorate of Mafraq implement ICT moderately, the results showed also that, there was no statistically significant due to the variables of: (sex, educational qualification, the number of sessions, and phase) differences, while the results indicated that there were statistically significant differences due to the variable of specialisation, to the favour of geography, and variable of experience to the favour of those with short and medium experience. Results also showed that the obstacles to the implementation of ICT by social studies teachers in Mafraq governate from their point of view came moderately, and that the main obstacles facing them was to: the lack of financial incentives for teachers who implement the means and tools of information and communication technologies, and the large number of the class students, and the concentration of schools managers on the administrative aspects of the other aspects, including information and communications technology account, and in view of the findings, the researcher presented a set of recommendations
