هدفت الدَّراسة إلى تقويم كتاب اللغة العربية للصف الثالث الأساسي في الاردن في ضوء معايير جودة الكتاب المدرسي. واقتصر مجتمع الدَّراسة وعينتها على كتاب اللغة العربية للصف الثالث الأساسي بجزئيه (الأول, والثاني) للعام الدَّراسي 2014/2015. ولتحقيق أهداف الدَّراسة قام الباحث بتقويم كتاب اللغة العربية للصف الثالث الأساسي في ضوء معايير جودة الكتاب المدرسي والمتعلقة بمجالات (الأهداف، والمحتوى، والأنشطة والوسائل التعليمية، والتقويم، والإخراج الفني). وقد توصلت الدَّراسة للنتائج التالية: أنَّ معايير جودة الكتاب المدرسي في كتاب اللغة العربية للصف الثالث الأساسي قد تحققت مجالاتها الخمسة ، فقد حصل مجال المحتوى على أعلى التكرارات بـ (253) تكراراً , يلها مجال الاخراج الفني بـ (192) تكراراً, ثم حصل مجال الأنشطة بـ (141) تكرارا, وبعد جاء مجال التقويم بـ (107) تكراراً, ثم حصل مجال الأهداف أقل تكراراً بـ (88), وفي ضوء النتائج خرجت الدَّراسة بجملة من التوصيات والمقترحات.
1. إعداد الكتاب من خلال الاسترشاد بقائمة المعايير التي توصلت إليها الدَّراسة الحالية شريطة أن يتم إعداد الكتاب من خلال فريق متعاون من المتخصصين في المناهج بالإضافة إلى وزيادة قاعدة المشاركة بحيث يتم أخذ آراء المعلمين والمشرفين قبل تعميم أي كتاب من الكتب.
2. تضمين الكتاب على أنشطة وأسئلة تنمي عند الطالب التفكير والإبداع، وتضمين المنهاج مهارات حل المشكلات لما لها من أهمية في تعليم التفكير وضرورة أن يحتوي الكتاب على أنشطة وأسئلة تناسب ميول الطلبة وتراعي الفروق الفردية.
3. العمل على عقد ورشات عمل ودورات تدريبية للقائمين على إعداد المناهج من أجل إيجاد كتب ومقررات تتصف بالجودة العالية مما يقلل من المشاكل التي تعود من تطبيقاتها في الميدان.

This study aimed to evaluate the Arabic Language textbook for the Third basic Grade in Jordan in the Light of the textbook Quality Standards.
Study population and sample have been limited to the Arabic Language textbook for the third basic grade in its two parts (the first and the second for the scholastic year 2014/2015.
To achieve the study objectives, the researcher has evaluated the Arabic Language textbook for the third basic grade in the light of the textbook?s quality standards related to the fields (the objectives, content activities and the educational means and the technical editing).
The study reached the following results: The quality standards of the Arabic language textbook for the third basic grade achieved its fifth fields.
The content field reached the highest frequences (253) frequencies, followed by the techinical editing (192) frequences, then the activities field reached (141) frequencies, then the evalation field (107) frequencies, the objectives field reached the less frequencies (88) frequencies.
1- Preparation book through guiding by the list of standards reached by the current study, provided that the book is set up through the collaborator team of specialists in addition increasing the base of participation so that the opinions of teachers and supervisors before the circulation of any book of books.
2- The book included questions on activities that develops thinking and creativity to the student, and to include in the curriculum problem-solving skills because of their importance in education and the need that book should contain questions and activities fit students tendencies and take into account individual differences.
3- Working to hold workshops and training courses for those in charge of the preparation of curricula in order to find books and decisions are characterized by high quality, which reduces the problems that date back from its applications in the field
