تهدف الدراسة توضيح أهمية الفكر السياسي والعقائدي الإسلامي والفكر السياسي العقائدي الليبرالي في مجال تطور مفهوم المواطنة والانتماء في المجتمعات لكليهما بشكل عام، مع بيان أهمية الاختلاف الفكري والعقائدي في آلية معالجة مكامن الخلل والنقص في بناء كل اتجاه فكري لهما، وتحديد أهمية النهج الفكري الذي يهدف لإيجاد حلول لجميع القضايا التي تنشأ من خلال (التعصب الديني والمذهبي والعرقي والطبقي) والتي ينادى من خلالها بالمصلحة العامة للأفراد في كلا الفكرين الإسلامي والليبرالي.
ولقد حاولت الدراسة الإجابة على السؤال المحوري "ما مدى تأثر المواطنة على الصعيد النظري وصعيد الممارسة العملية في الحد من ظاهرة الارهاب الفكري والعقائدي ومواجهتها؟
واستخدمت الدراسة منهج المقارنة للتمييز بين كل من الفكر السياسي والعقائدي الإسلامي والفكر السياسي الليبرالي، مع الاستعانة بمنهج الثقافة السياسية للحصول على أدق النتائج.
وخلصت الدراسة إلى جملة من الاستنتاجات والتوصيات، أبرزها أن مشكلة الإرهاب الفكري لا تختص بمجتمع محدد، أو ثقافة بعينها ولا دين خاص منتج له.
وأن حل مشكلة الإرهاب الفكري تكون من خلال انتهاج تحقيق متطلبات المواطنة التي تعني تطبيق حقوق وواجبات المواطنة المتمثلة بالعدالة، والمساواة، والحرية بشكل أساسي، مع فتح باب الحوار بشكل جدي وعملي وعلمي وفوري في مواجهة الإرهاب الفكري والعقائدي بشكل عام.

The study aims to clarify the importance of the political thought of both, Islamic political and ideological thought and dogmatic liberal political thought in the field of development of the concept of citizenship and belonging in the communities to both of them in general, with an indication of the importance of intellectual and ideological differences in the treatment of kinks and lack a mechanism to build each direction intellectual for them, and determine the significance of the intellectual approach, which aims to find solutions to all the issues that arise through solutions (religious, sectarian and ethnic intolerance and class) and advocated through which the public interest to individuals in both the Islamic and liberal Alvkran.
The study tried to answer the central question "What are the implications for citizenship in theory and in practice in reducing the phenomenon of intellectual and ideological terrorism and response."
The study used the comparative approach to compare all of the political and ideological Islamic ideology and political thought with the liberal use of the methodology of the political culture to get the most accurate results.
The study concluded that a number of conclusions and recommendations, most notably that the problem of intellectual terrorism did not concern a specific community, or a particular culture or religion of a special product for him.
And that the solution to the problem of intellectual terrorism is through the pursuit of achieving citizenship requirements, which means the application of the rights and duties of citizenship of justice, equality, and freedom mainly with open dialogue in earnest, practical and scientific and immediate in the face of intellectual and ideological terrorism in general
