هدفت هذه الدراسة للكشف عن واقع علاقات الأردن بدول جنوب شرق آسيا من عام 2005م-2014م بالإضافة إلى التعرف على العلاقات الأردنية الأندونيسية للوقوف على مستوى التطور في العلاقات السياسية والدبلوماسية والاقتصادية والتجارية بين الأردن واندونيسيا. وإعتمدت الدراسة المنهج التاريخي، والمنهج الوصفي المقارن، في تحقيق أهداف الدراسة.
توصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج من أهمها: توصلت الدراسة إلى أن علاقة الأردن بدول جنوب شرق أسيا تسير نحو تعزيز مجالات التعاون والتقارب في إطار سعي الجانبين الى تطور هذه العلاقات لما يعود بالفائدة عليهما في إطار مواجهة التحديات وتعزيز مجالات التعاون الإقتصادي من خلال زيادة حجم الإستثمارات وحجم التبادل التجاري وذلك لتعزيز العلاقات العربية مع دول جنوب شرق أسيا وخصوصاً مع أندونيسيا وماليزيا إستثماراً للأبعاد الدينية والتاريخية المشتركة بين الجانبين. وإن الأردن يعد شريكاً أساسياً لإندونيسيا في المنطقة العربية، وهناك مجالات واسعة لتعزيز التبادل التجاري والارتقاء به لمستوى العلاقات السياسية والامكانات الاقتصادية التي تتوفر في البلدين. ويتمتع الأردن واندونيسيا بعلاقات اقتصادية وثيقة، أسست لها اتفاقيات التعاون الاقتصادي والتجاري، وترويج وحماية الاستثمارات المشتركة، واتفاقية تجنب الازدواج الضريبي الموقعة بين البلدين. وفي ضوء نتائج الدراسة فقد خرجت بالنتائج التالية: العمل على تقميق مجالات التعاون السياسي والأمني بين الدول العربية ودول جتوب شرق آسيا وخصوصاً تعميق العلاقات وتوطيدها بين الأردن وأندونيسيا من خلال التبادل الرسمي التي تعمل على تطوير العلاقات بين الطرفين. والعمل على زيادة التعاون بين الأردن وأندونيسيا ودول جنوب شرق أسيا في المحافل الدولية والإقليمية فيما يعزز قدرتيهما على دعم القضايا التي تهم الطرفين. وضرورة تعزيز علاقات القطاع الخاص في البلدين لاستكشاف الفرص ومجالات التعاون وتبادل المعلومات والزيارات وإقامة المعارض والاستفادة من الاتفاقيات ومذكرات التفاهم التي تربط الجانبين بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة.

The study aimed at revealing the status of Jordan's relationship with South East Asian countries during the period of 2005- 2014. In addition, to identify the Jordanian/ Indonesian relationship so as to understand the level of development in political, economic and commercial relationship between Jordan and Indonesia. The study relied upon historical approach and comparative descriptive method in order to achieve the objectives of the study.
The most important results of the study are: Jordan?s relationship with South East Asian states, is proceeding towards the enhancement of relationship in terms of cooperation, and becoming close within the framework of the two states seeking to develop such relationship for mutual benefits especially in facing challenges and strengthening economic cooperation through the increase of investment magnitude and the size of commercial exchange, which can be translated into enhancement of Arab relationships with South East Asian states in general, Indonesia and Malaysia in particular through the investment in common religious and historical dimensions between the two sides.
Jordan is considered to be Indonesian's strategic partner in the Arab region. There are wide fields to enhance trade exchange and have it at the political relationship's level and economic capabilities in both countries. Jordan and Indonesia enjoy a close economic relationship which trade and economic cooperation treaties paved the way to have such relationship, also, the promotion and protection of joint investment, and the avoidance of double taxation agreement that is signed between the two states.
The study achieved the following results: The two countries have to deepen security and political cooperation especially between Arab countries and South East Asian countries in general, and between Jordan and Indonesia in particular through official exchange which seeks to enhance the relationship development between the two states especially in the regional and international arena. It is necessary to empower the private sectors relationship in both countries in order to explore opportunities, cooperation and information, and visits exchange, and the opening of show and fares and memorandums of under hanging that connect the two states in a way that serves both of them
