تناولت هذه الدراسة العلاقات الأردنية - العراقية في الفترة مابين ( 1921- 1951م) واعتمدت الوثائق الهاشمية أوراق عبدالله بن الحسين ( مصدراً)، وقد اجتهد الباحث فيها باستخدام المنهج التاريخي في دراسة تطور العلاقات الأردنية - العراقية وتقييمها للوصول إلى نتائج تفيدنا في اختيار الفرضية ، كما تم الاستعانة بالمنهج الوصفي التحليلي و التغيرات التي حصلت على العلاقات الأردنية - العراقية ، بتحليل الوثائق الهاشمية والاستبيانات الرسمية خلال تلك الفترة من تطور العلاقات بين البلدين .
وتضمنت الدراسة مقدمة، وتمهيد، ثلاث فصول، وخاتمة، ففي التمهيد عالجت دراسة تحليل الوثائق الهاشمية.
خلصت هذه الدراسة للعلاقات السياسية الأردنية العراقية في الفترة ( 1921- 1951م) لمحاولة معرفة تطور العلاقة السياسية بين البلدين، باعتماد الوثائق الهاشمية وغيرها من المصادر، حيث مرت العلاقات بين البلدين بفترة من التعاون والتقارب.
وبعد أن اتضحت المواقف المتباينة من مشروع سوريا الكبرى بين الأردن والعراق وكانت دوافع الأمير عبدالله بن الحسين واضحة لتحقيق الوحدة السورية في مشروع سوريا الكبرى كأول مشروع وحدوي هاشمي ، وكذلك تباين الموقف الأردني والعراقي اتجاه قيام جامعة الدول العربية، وكان للعلاقات الاقتصادية بين البلدين له أثر واضح خاصة بعد أنشاء خط أنبوب شركة نفط العراق (I.P,C) وما له أثر على الحياة الاقتصادية في المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، وظهور بعض الأنظمة والقوانين بين البلدين في تلك الفترة ، وكان للأردن والعراق دور مهم خاصة في الحرب العربية ? الإسرائيلية عام 1948م ، التي ظهر من خلال مشاركة الجيشين الأردني والعراقي في الحرب وما قدموا من تضحيات من اجل
