هدفت الدراسة إلى توضيح طبيعة الأزمة اليمنية وبيان الدبلوماسية الكويتية وأدواتها ومقومات القوة للدبلوماسية الكويتية، وبيان طبيعة وأبعاد دور الدبلوماسية الكويتية في حل الأزمة اليمنية خلال الفترة 2011-2016، وقد أنطلقت الدراسة من فرضية رئيسية مفادها: هناك علاقة ارتباطية بين فاعلية الدبلوماسية الكويتية وبين قدرة أطراف الصراع على الوصول لحلول تساهم في حل الأزمة اليمنية خلال الفترة 2011-2016، وأستخدمت الدراسة منهج صنع القرار، ومنهج تحليل النظم السياسية في عرض موضوع الرسالة .
وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى أن التطورات العسكرية المتواصلة في اليمن والجمود السياسي تظهر أن مشاورات الكويت، كانت محطة لا تعوّض من حيث الظروف والعوامل التي توافرت لنجاحها، لكن لم يتم استغلالها على طاولة التفاوض بين الفرقاء في اليمن ، وأن دولة الكويت تؤيد الحل السلمي في اليمن بسبب الأوضاع الإنسانية المتدهورة في الجمهورية اليمنية والتي بذل التحالف العربي جهوداً كبيرة لتلافيها والتخفيف من وطأتها من خلال تمكين المجتمع الدولي للتحالف والوكالات الدولية من إيصال مساعداتها إلى المناطق التي تسيطر عليها، وقد قامت الكويت ببذل جهود دبلوماسية حثيثة من أجل تقريب وجهات النظر بين الأطراف المتصارعة في اليمن ، وتؤمن الكويت بأن أي مساعي لدعم اليمن وإخراجه من محنته لابد وأن تنطلق من خلال المبادرة الخليجية وآلياتها التنفيذية ،ومخرجات مؤتمر الحوار الوطني الشامل ،وقرارات مجلس الأمن ذات الصلة، وتدعم جهود المبعوث الدولي إلى اليمن ، وذلك من خلال استضافتها للمشاورات اليمنية لمدى ثلاثة أشهر وسخرت كل الإمكانات المتاحة لتمكينهم من التوصل إلى أتفاق سياسي وذلك إنطلاقاً من واجب دولة الكويت الإنساني وعلاقاتها مع اليمن .
وتوصي الدراسة بأهمية إدراك بلدان مجلس التعاون الخليجي ضرورة استمرار الدعم الخليجي للاستقرار في اليمن مادياً ومعنوياً لأن الأمن والاستقرار في اليمن سيكون له أثر مباشر على مستقبل أمن الخليج العربي، واستمرار جهود دولة الكويت واستثمار مقومات القوة لديها في دعم عملية السلام ومسار حل الأزمة بين القوى المتصارعة في اليمن.

The study aimed at clarifying the nature of the Yemeni crisis, the statement of Kuwaiti diplomacy, its tools and the strengths of Kuwaiti diplomacy, and the nature and dimensions of the role of Kuwaiti diplomacy in solving the Yemeni crisis during the period 2011-2016. The study started from a basic hypothesis: The conflict over access to solutions contributes to solving the Yemeni crisis during the period 2011-2016. The study used the decision-making method and the methodology of analyzing the political systems in presenting the subject of the message.
The study concluded that the ongoing military developments in Yemen and the political stalemate showed that Kuwait's consultations were not a substitute for the circumstances and factors that were successful, but were not exploited at the negotiating table between the parties in Yemen and that the State of Kuwait supports the peaceful solution in Yemen because of the situation The Arab League has made great efforts to avoid and mitigate the crisis by enabling the international community of the coalition and international agencies to deliver their assistance to the areas under their control. Kuwait has made vigorous diplomatic efforts to bring about Considering that any efforts to support Yemen and bring it out of its ordeal should be launched through the Gulf Initiative and its executive mechanisms, the outcomes of the comprehensive national dialogue conference and the relevant Security Council resolutions, and supports the efforts of the international envoy to Yemen through Hosted the Yemeni consultations for a period of three months and made use of all available means to enable them to reach a political agreement based on the duty of the State of Kuwait and its relations with Yemen.
The study recommends the importance of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries' understanding of the necessity of continuing the Gulf support for stability in Yemen materially and morally because security and stability in Yemen will have a direct impact on the future of the security of the Arabian Gulf, the continued efforts of Kuwait and the investment of its strengths in supporting the peace process and the path of resolving the crisis between the conflicting forces In Yemen
