The study aimed to show the role played by the books of biography in the history of the early stage of the Ottoman Empire, and the employment of biographies in historical studies as one of the important sources rich in tracking the political , economical , social and intellectual life. To achieve those goals researcher depended on contemporary sources and adopted nearby for that period, references and recent studies. The research was divided into an introduction, three chapters , a conclusion a list of sources , references, and appendices. The study resulted in the efficiency of school biographies and success in attracting attention for political, economical, social and intellectual life in the early Ottoman period in the Levant in high accurate level, and the book "KHULASAT ALATHER Synopsis notables atheist century" is considered as one of the most important books of biography in that period. The results also indicated that Almahby like many of his contemporaries, and his ex, he was transferred translations of senators and recognize the sources that transferrt them, and he has the mentality of a smart, and broad knowledge. As the results showed, the researcher suggested recommendations notably the need to highlight on the role that played by biographies in the history of early stage, and re-evaluating historic period, and refused described decay and deterioration .The study of Almahby ,as a historian and a writer, may contribute to some extent in the recorrect of the calendar
