استهدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى السياسة الخارجية الأمريكية تجاه المشرق العربي لبنان "دراسة حالة"، حيث قامت على فرضية مفادها: "إن هناك علاقة ارتباطية بين توجهات السياسة الخارجية الأمريكية ومنطقة المشرق العربي بعامة ولبنان بخاصة، ومقومات المنطقة الجيوسياسية، وهذه العلاقة تتأرجح سلبا وإيجابا ،صعوداً وهبوطاً مع الأحداث التي تجتاح المنطقة، في حين كانت مشكلة الدراسة تتمحور في سؤال رئيس مفاده: "ما الأسلوب الذي رسمته الولايات المتحدة لسياستها في المشرق العربي بعامة ولبنان بخاصة.
وللتحقق من فرضية الدراسة والإجابة على السؤال المحوري للمشكلة، فقد اتبعنا منهج صنع القرار في السياسة الخارجية ومنهج النظام الدولي ومنهج المصلحة الوطنية، وهذه المناهج معمول بها في مثل هذه الدراسات، وهي تناسب وتحقق الأهداف العامة للدراسة.
وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى صحة الفرضية وأوصلتنا إلى عدة استنتاجات، أهمها: أن هناك ارتباط بين منطقة المشرق العربي بعامة ولبنان بخاصة، والسياسية الخارجية الأمريكية، كون المنطقة تعج بالثروات المختلفة الهامة التي تزيد قوة الولايات المتحدة، لتبقى القوة الكبرى في العالم، وأن توجهات السياسة الخارجية الأمريكية في لبنان، هي توجهات تنبع من المصلحة الأمريكية، كونها تنظر إلى تحقيق ما يسمّى بمشروع الشرق الأوسط الكبير فضلاً عن أن الأمم المتحدة وخاصة فروعها المتنفذة، أصبحت أداة من أدوات السياسة الخارجية كفعلتيها في لبنان من خلال مجلس الأمن ومحكمة العدل الدولية، أضف إلى ذلك أن الدعم الأمريكي للكيان الصهيوني في فلسطين يجعل منه أداة تنفذيه للولايات المتحدة؛ كونه يحقق غايتين معًا: أهداف أمريكية، وأخرى ضرورية للكيان الصهيوني نفسه.
إن الاستنتاجات السابقة استوجبت عدة توصيات، أهمها: ضرورة العمل على الحفاظ على لُحمة المشرق العربي بعامة، وضرورة الحفاظ على قوة لبنان بخاصة، لكي لا يتسلل الآخر من خلال خلخلة بنية المشرق العربي ولبنان. كما أن هنا ضرورة لإحياء روح التضامن العربي لتشكيل قوّة في وجه كل طامع ومعين، والتفاف شعب لبنان حول الوطن اللبناني على اعتباره وطن الجميع، فضلاً عن الابتعاد عن التحالفات الطائفية مع القوى الخارجية؛ لأنها تهدف إلى تحقيق مصالحها، لا مصلحة لبنان.

This study aimed at identifying the U.S. foreign policy towards the Arab East, Lebanon as a case study "This study is based on the premise that: "There is a correlation between the U.S. foreign policy attitudes and the Arab East region in general and Lebanon in particular , while the problem of the study lies in the U.S foreign policy and how effective it is ,whether negatively or positively in the Arab East in general and Lebanon in particular. This study has focused on one central question:
What is the style drawn by the United States for its policy in the Arab East in general. And Lebanon in particular. To verify the hypothesis of the study and in order to answer the central question of the problem , we have Followed the approach of decision - making in foreign policy, and the international system approach and the methodology of the national interest These approaches are common in such studies and they fit and achieve the general goals of the study.
This study concluded the authenticity of the hypothesis and it brought us to several conclusions, including: that there is a correlation between the Arab East region in general and Lebanon in particular, and the American foreign policy, because the region is brimful with treasures which enables the United States, to keep the major power in the world. The American foreign policy in Lebanon stems from the interest of the United States aiming at achieving the so-called project "Greater Middle East ", and Lebanon in its current situation is considered as the weakest link ,and when it is submitted ,the beyond will be easier , in addition to the United Nations, and in particular its influential subsidiaries, it has become tool at the hand of the foreign policy which was activated in Lebanon , through the Security Council and the international Court of Justice. More over, the U.S. support for the Zionist entity in Palestine makes it an executive tool to the United States and Israel, as to achieve goals together.
The previous conclusions necessitated several recommendations, including: the need to maintain on the integrity of the Arab East in general, and Lebanon in particular, in order to prevent others so as not to penetrate through by disrupting the structure of the Arab East in general, and Lebanon in particular, to revive the spirit of Arab solidarity to form a force in the face of all enemies and exploiters. the need of the people of Lebanon to unite themselves for the sake of their one homeland , and to get away from the sectarian alliances with the foreign powers because they aim to achieve their interests not the interests of Lebanon
