This study aimed to identify the impact of applying and using information technology on the performance of private hospitals in Jordan, the researcher designed a questionnaire to measure the variables of the study. Population of the study included all private hospitals in Jordan which were (60) hospitals distributed on the three regions of Jordan (North, Middle, and South), the sample of the study consisted of (125) respondents from (22) hospitals. In order to achieve the goals of the study and to examine its hypotheses the researcher used a questionnaire to collect the data, the study used the descriptive-analytical method. The study came out with many findings, some of the important findings were: -Respondents' conception for the level of applying and using the physical elements was moderate. - Respondents' conception for the level of hospitals' performance was moderate. -There is a statistical significant difference in the independent variables in private hospitals' performance in Jordan, ordered according to the statistical importance: (computers networks, software programs, hardware computers). - There is no statistical significant difference for sharing database on private hospitals' performance in Jordan
