هدفت الدراسة إلى الوقوف على درجة تقييم كتاب التربية الوطنية للصف السادس الابتدائي من وجهة نظر المعلمين والمعلمات في محافظة بغداد، كما هدفت إلى دراسة فيما إذا كانت هنالك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (= ?0.05) في درجة تقييم كتاب التربية الوطنية للصف السادس الابتدائي من وجهة نظر المعلمين والمعلمات في محافظة بغداد تعزى لمتغيرات ( الخبرة، والمؤهل العلمي، والجنس). ومن أجل تحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، حيث تم تطوير استبانة تم التأكد من صدقها وثباتها، وتم توزيعها تم على عينة الدراسة التي تكونت من (208) معلماً من معلمي مادة التربية الوطنية الذين يقومون بتدريس كتاب التربية الوطنية للصف السادس الابتدائي تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية البسيطة، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن درجة تقدير أفراد عينة الدراسة لكتاب التربية الوطنية للصف السادس الابتدائي في محافظة بغداد جاءت بدرجة متوسطة، حيث جاء مجال تنظيم الخبرات والأنشطة والوسائل، في المرتبة الأولى يليه مجال إخراج الكتاب وشكله العام، تلاه مجال أسلوب العرض، والتقويم، وهيكلية الكتاب، ولغة الكتابة، وفي المرتبة قبل الأخيرة مجال محتوى الكتاب، وأخيراً مجال مقدمة الكتاب، كما توصلت الدراسة إلى عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً عند مستوى الدلالة (?=0.05) بين المتوسطات الحسابية الخاصة بدرجة تقدير أفراد عينة الدراسة من المعلمين والمعلمات لكتاب التربية الوطنية تعزى لمتغيرات الخبرة، والمؤهل العلمي، والنوع الاجتماعي في جميع المجالات والأداة ككل. وبناء على النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة أوصت بإعادة صياغة مقدمة الكتاب والتركيز فيها على أهمية التربية الوطنية وتوجيه الطالب للعناية بكتابه وأدواته، وزيادة الاهتمام بمجال المحتوى والتركيز فيه على مشكلات المجتمع وتطبيقاتها في مواقف الحياة، ووضع المتعلم في مواقف مهمة من الحياة ومساعدته في كيفية حّلها.

 This study aimed to evaluate the National Education Textbook for the sixth grade from the teachers' perspective in Baghdad Governorate, and examine whether there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (? = 0.05) attributed to the variables (experience, qualification, and gender). In order to achieve the objectives of the study were used descriptive analytical approach through the design a questionnaire was confirmed realibity and validity, and distributed has been on the study sample, which consisted of (208) teachers of substance of National Education who taught Book of National Education sixth-grade primary were selected in the manner Statistics were used statistical averages, the study found that the degree of appreciation of teachers to score a book of national education for sixth-grade primary school in the province of Baghdad came moderately, where he was the field organizing experiences, activities and means, in first place, followed by the output writers and shape of the year, followed by the style of presentation, calendar, and the structure of the book, and the writing language, came in the penultimate field content of the book, and finally the introduction to the book, as the study found no statistically significant differences When the level of significance (? = 0.05) between the arithmetic averages degree study sample estimate of teachers to score a book National Education attributable to the variables of experience in the field of education, qualification, and gender in all areas and the whole tool. Based on the findings of the study recommended the drafting of the book's introduction and focusing on the importance of civic education and guide the student to take care of his book and tools, and increased interest in the field of content and focus on the problems of society and their applications in life situations, and put the learner in the positions of the task of life and help in how to solve them
