Islam came to raise the status of women and raise their value and removes her fatigue after being a burden for a long time . Women became so active on different levels politically , economically and even on a religious basis. Thus the verses of the Holy Quran and the Hadeeth were so decisive in giving women their rights complete and just during the fourteen century that witnessed the Islam, precedent all the earthly laws and status of human kind that deprived women of their rights , such as inheritance and financial ownership . caliph Omar bin Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him said : " In the pre-Islamic age AL-Jahleya , women were nothing , they were even inherited as a piece of furniture until Allah gave them their rights back " . So the teachings of Islam came to decide for women social, economic and political rights, to enable them to play their role in society
