هدفت الدِّراسة تقويم أداء معلمي المرحلة المتوسطة في ضوء المعايير العالمية للتعليم في دولة الكويت، وأثر متغيرات الجنس، والمؤهل العلمي، والخبرة في ذلك، وتكوَّنت عينة الدراسة من (292) معلماً ومعلمة. وتم تطوير أداة لقياس متغيرات الدِّراسة تكونت من (46) فقرة موزعة على (8) مجالات. وأظهرت نتائج الدِّراسة أن مستوى أداء معلمي المرحلة المتوسطة في ضوء المعايير العالمية للتعليم في دولة الكويت مرتفع، كما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية تعزى لأثر الجنس في مجالات (تخطيط وتصميم المواقف التعليمية، التنمية المهنية، الالتزام المهني)، ووجود فروق مجالات (توفير المناخ التعليمي الملائم والتقييد به والحفاظ عليه، استخدام الاستراتيجيات والتقنيات التعليمية، تقويم الطلاب ومتابعة نتائج التعلم، التقويم الذاتي، تعاون المعلم مع رؤساؤه وزملاؤه والطلبة وأولياء أمورهم) وكذلك في الدرجة الكلية وجاءت الفروق لصالح الاناث، كما توصلت النتائج إلى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية تعزى لأثر المؤهل العلمي في مجالات (تخطيط وتصميم المواقف التعليمية، تقويم الطلاب ومتابعة نتائج التعلم، التقويم الذاتي، تعاون المعلم مع رؤساؤه وزملاؤه والطلبة وأولياء أمورهم، الالتزام المهني)، ووجود فروق مجالات (توفير المناخ التعليمي الملائم والتقييد به والحفاظ عليه، استخدام الاستراتيجيات والتقنيات التعليمية، التنمية المهنية) وكذلك في الدرجة الكلية وجاءت الفروق لصالح مؤهل البكالوريوس، وتوصلت النتائج كذلك إلى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية تعزى لأثر سنوات الخبرة في مجالي (تخطيط وتصميم المواقف التعليمية، الالتزام المهني)، ووجود فروق في باقي مجالات والدرجة الكلية لصالح سنوات الخبرة (5 سنوات فأقل، و6- 11 سنة).
وأوصت الدراسة مجموعة من التوصيات منها: تقييم أداء معلمي التعليم العام وفق المعايير العالمية للتعليم، وليس في ضوء أساليب التقييم التقليدية المتبعة من قبل مديري المدارس، ربط أداء المعلمين في ضوء المعايير العالمية للتعليم بالمكافآت والحوافز التشجيعية التي تسهم في تبنيهم لهذه المعايير والعمل في ضوئها

The study aimed to Evaluate performance of teachers in the middle stage in the light of international standards of education in the State of Kuwait, and the effect of certain variables (sex, educational qualification, stage of study, and years of experience) on that. The study sample consisted of (292) male and female teachers. A tool was developed to Evaluate performance of teachers in the middle stage in the light of international standards of education in the State of Kuwait .It included (46) items distributed on eight areas. The results showed that the level of teachers performance in middle school level in the light of international standards of education in the State of Kuwait is high. The Results showed that there were no statistically significant differences due to sex on fields (Planning and design of educational situations, professional development, professional commitment), The Results showed also that there were statistically significant differences due to sex on fields (Providing adequate educational climate and its restriction and keep it, use strategies and techniques educational, Student Evaluation and follow-up of learning outcomes, self-evaluation, Teacher's cooperation with his superiors and colleagues, students and their parents). As well as in the total score In favor of females. The Results showed that there were no statistically significant differences due to educational qualification on fields (Planning and design of educational situations, Student Evaluation and follow-up of learning outcomes, self-evaluation, Teacher's cooperation with his superiors and colleagues, students and their parents, professional commitment). The Results showed also that there were statistically significant differences due to educational qualification on fields (Providing adequate educational climate and its restriction and keep it, use strategies and techniques educational, professional development). As well as in the total score In favor of a bachelor's qualification, The Results showed that there were no statistically significant differences due to years of experience on fields (Planning and design of educational situations, professional commitment). The Results showed also that there were statistically significant differences due to years of experience on other fields As well as in the total score for years of experience (5 years and less, 6-11 years).
According to the findings of the study, the researcher suggested a set of recommendations .The most important of which were: Assessing the performance of public education teachers in accordance with international standards of education, not in the light of traditional assessment methods which used by school principals. Link the performance of teachers in the light of the international standards of education with the rewards and incentive incentives that contribute to their adoption of these standards and work against them
