هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على أثر تبني نظام الجودة ISO - TS 29001 بأبعاده (الحد من الخطر، وإدراج احتياجات صناعة محددة، الامتثال للمتطلبات القانونية والتنظيمية، زيادة الثقة في منتجات الشركة وعمليات) على الميزة التنافسية في الشركات النفطية الكويتية، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة واختبار فرضياتها قام الباحث بتطوير إستبانة وتوزيعها على عينة الدراسة المكونة من (301) موظف وموظفة في الشركات النفطية في الكويت. وبعد إجراء التحليل الإحصائي لإجابات أفراد العينة عن أداة الدراسة تبين أن مستوى تبني نظام الجودة ISO - TS 29001في شركات النفط الكويتية من وجهة نظر العاملين فيها جاء متوسطاً، كما أن مستوى أداء شركات النفط الكويتية كان متوسطا من وجهة نظر العاملين فيها، فضلاً عن وجود أثر ذو دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05 ? ?) لتبني نظام الجودة ISO - TS 29001 على الميزة التنافسية للشركات النفطية الكويتية. وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة زيادة اهتمام الشركات النفطية الكويتية برفع مستوى تبني نظام الجودة ISO - TS 29001

 The current study aimed to identify the impact of adopting the ISO-TS 29001 control system with its dimensions ( risk reduction, the inclusion of specific industry needs, compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and increasing the confidence in the company's products and processes) on the competitive advantage in the Kuwaiti oil companies. To achieve the objectives of the study and test its hypotheses, the researcher prepared a questionnaire and distributed it to the study sample consisting of 301 male and female employees in the oil companies in Kuwait. After conducting the statistical analysis for the answers of the members of the study regarding the study tool, the researcher indicated that the level of adopting the ISO-TS 29001 quality system in the Kuwaiti oil companies from the perspective of the employees was medium, the level of the performance of the Kuwaiti oil companies from the perspective of their employees was medium and that there was a statistically significant impact at the level of significance ( ? ? 0.05) for adopting the quality control system of ISO-TS 29001 on the competitive advantage in the Kuwaiti oil companies. The study recommended the need to increase the attention of the Kuwaiti oil companies in raising the level of adopting the quality system of ISO - TS 29001
