هدفت هذه الدراسة التعرّف إلى درجة استخدام طلبة جامعة آل البيت لجهاز الآيباد في اكتساب مهارات اللغة الإنجليزية ومعيقات استخدامه من وجهة نظرهم، وقد طوّرت الباحثة أداة الدراسة وهي استبانة مكوّنة من (42) فقرة، تم التأكد من صدقها وثباتها. وتم توزيعها على عينة الدراسة والمكونة من(360) طالباً وطالبة من طلبة جامعة آل البيت، وتم استخدام المنهج الوصفي المسحي، وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن درجة استخدام طلبة جامعة آل البيت لجهاز الآيباد في اكتساب مهارات اللغة الإنجليزية كانت بدرجة متوسطة. وأظهرت النتائج أيضاً وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية لدرجة استخدام طلبة جامعة آل البيت لجهاز الآيباد في اكتساب مهارات اللغة الإنجليزية تعزى لمتغير الجنس ولصالح الذكور، وأظهرت النتائج أيضاً وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية لدرجة استخدام طلبة جامعة آل البيت لجهاز الآيباد في اكتساب مهارات اللغة الإنجليزية تعزى لمتغير التخصص الجامعي ولصالح طلبة تخصص اللغة الإنجليزية، كما أظهرت النتائج أن معيقات استخدام طلبة جامعة آل البيت لجهاز الآيباد في اكتساب مهارات اللغة الإنجليزية كانت بدرجة مرتفعة، وأظهرت النتائج أيضاً وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في معيقات استخدام طلبة جامعة آل البيت لجهاز الآيباد في اكتساب مهارات اللغة الإنجليزية تعزى لمتغير الجنس في جميع المجالات ولصالح الإناث، كما كشفت نتائج الدراسة عن وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في معيقات استخدام طلبة جامعة آل البيت لجهاز الآيباد في اكتساب مهارات اللغة الإنجليزية تعزى لمتغير التخصص الجامعي ولصالح طلبة تخصص معلم الصف، وقد اختتمت الباحثة دراستها بمجموعة من التوصيات ومنها ضرورة توفير الإمكانات والتسهيلات التي تساعد على توفير بيئة مناسبة لاستخدام جهاز الآيباد. |

This study aimed at identifying The Degree of Al-Al-Bayt University Students' Usage of iPad Device in Acquiring the English Language Skills and the Obstacles to its Usage from their Perspectives. The researcher developed the instrument of the study, a questionnaire consisted of (42) items. It's validity and reliability were confirmed. The questionnaire was distributed to the study sample which consisted of (360) Students. The researcher used the descriptive method. The results of the study showed that the degree of Al-Al-Bayt University students' usage of iPad device in acquiring the English language skills from their perspectives was medium. The results also showed that there are statistically significant differences in the degree of use of Al-Bayt University students in the acquisition of English language skills attributed to gender variable in favor of males. The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences in the degree of Al-Bayt University students use of the iPad in acquiring English language skills attributed to major variable and in favor of the students of the English language major. The results showed that the obstacles using iPad device by Al-Bayt University students to acquire English skills were high. The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences in the obstacles using iPad device by Al-Bayt University students to acquire English language skills attributed to gender variable in all fields and in favor of females. The results of the study revealed the existence of statistically significant differences in the obstacles using iPad device by Al-Bayt University students in acquiring English language skills attributed to the variable of major and in favor of classroom teacher. The researcher concluded her study with a set of recommendations, including provision of facilities and facilities that help to provide an environment suitable for the use of the iPad |
